  1. According to Google maps, this is where you want to be -29.571581, 30.355024
  2. Does anyone have a design for a little fender/ fairing to protect the front mech from getting all jammed up with grit when on an extra muddy ride?
  3. I see the route profiles have been released. 1850m climbing for the 105k race. http://ow.ly/vdFVu
  4. Well, I am in! I was unable to enter due to it being on the 27th but the 28th works perfectly for me.
  5. I think the article said that you unclip by twisting the foot, thus compressing the spring and pushing the disks together allowing the cleat to come away from the pedal.
  6. Hey guys, a little less of this: http://www.editinternational.com/images/gallery/06-handbag_low.jpg And a little more of this: http://1funny.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/03/polar-bear-hugging-dog.jpg makes thehub a happy place
  7. Is that not in fact a delivery van? Note the lack of side windows. Pretty hectic stuff, but without context it is difficult to say exactly what went down before the video was shot.
  8. I have always used Joe's sealant and never had any of it turn into balls in the tyre. Also it has always worked perfectly for punctures.
  9. Yup. What goes around comes around.
  10. The easiest surefire way is to add a few layers of insulation tape over the rim tape until the tire fits quite snug on the rim before you try to inflate it. Obviously you need to make a hole through the insulation tape over the valve hole.
  11. Mind = Officially blown! To someone who can't even draw stick figures I just can't wrap my head around this!!! Check out the rest of them here http://www.buzzfeed....ent-photographs EDIT: this is a painting! http://s3-ec.buzzfed.com/static/enhanced/webdr01/2013/6/3/16/enhanced-buzz-2929-1370291304-13.jpg
  12. At least one positive about the Aussies high scoring rate means there is more time for SA to build a good innings.
  13. Yup, that is the way to do it. This method has never let me down - and then if you change to a different tyre that is difficult to get on you can just remove a few layers of the insulation tape it will go on much easier. Here's a link to how I described my method in an earlier thread: https://community.bikehub.co.za/topic/134970-best-tubeless-method-i-have-ever-seen/page__st__32#entry2177848
  14. Another way to deal with the bugs is to get some chickens although if you have dogs like ours it wont work so well!
  15. Probably something like this http://www.airgunweb.com/2008/02/crosman-357-co2-pellet-revolver/ It shoots the normal type of pelets using co2
  16. I bought one on auction for R200, never used it, gave it to a frend, 1 year later he has never used it!
  17. How about throwing into the mix disproportionate body shape? Those of us with short legs and a long torso and arms also get a raw deal from the bmi calculator
  18. That's better Would be cool if there was something like that here, although they would probably only subsidise something like a simple steel commuter type bike.
  19. We'll have to take your word for it...
  20. I must say that is one of the things I like about my S4, it uses the gps satellite constellation as well as the Russian GLONASS satellite navigation constellation, thus giving better accuracy especially in built up and forested areas as well as quicker lock on times.
  21. I can fully agree with you on that one! I once un bolted all the seats from my car and washed them with a pressure cleaner.
