    What does a motor weigh? A wide range cassette can easily weigh 500 grams (if you do not buy the R6k models)

    Why put pedals/drive train on e-bikes anyway? I am sure they can shave at least a kilo or so off the bike. Put the motor in the rear hub and use the "saved weight" for a bigger battery. That way you don't have to sweat at all.

    Nothing will anyway. It is a mentality. Celebrating mediocrity. A Millennial thing. Everybody gets a certificate at school nowadays. Be it for just showing up or whatever. It does not work. If you don't need to work and still get a bonus, why the hell would you do ANYTHING?

Also the exact reason why farmers cannot be classified in the same league when it involves conservation. Similar to calling all German speaking people Nazi's.

    Commercial yes. Love does not put you in the black. But it helps.

    Everything we do (including farming)is not purely based on a commercial point of view. Love is one of them. Love makes no sense. Be it love of your wife, your country or your land. There are people who love their farms as well.

    It not necessary to explain the obvious. Reductionist wavelength borders on derogatory. Assuming farmers know little or nothing about conservation? Again inflammatory. Crude and derogatory. Thus, will a private game ranch ensure that there is no loss of the fauna and flora biodiversity and ensure that the existing biodiversity is conserved? Looking at this provokes the question asked. Were you ever involved in farming/conservation other than the internet?

    Farmers don't keep sheep because they are cute. I like reading threads like these. Lengthy discussions from global warming, flat earthers, deforestation, and global extinction. Every party writing his PhD. And getting a distinction. And not a single vote won for the other party. Like socialists defending socialism and capitalists defending capitalism.
