Awesome bike, if you're going to ride mainly trails. Owned one of these but sold it because I liked the more open road fast rides. Go ahead and buy it, best trail bike you can get in my opinion. That brain rear shock is just awesome, can't be compared to any other rear shock setup

Best built for pure speed bike on the planet... Goes like a bomb. Carried me to 7th place in my 1st race last weekend. My son aged 16 , 24th place. Tarmac S-Works 2014 SRAM Red . Just awesome

What about riding early in the morning? The traffic should be less?

Would be interesting to know what kind of riding you do. Does not sound right replacing these bearings after only 2 months.

Money apart the shifting on the XX1 is just so much quicker. No need to make 2 shifts , ie front and rear on a steep climb.

Agree, 34T is the best all rounder. I enjoy a open road fast ride, the XX1 is perfect. Just such a good wide application option.

XX1 , what a revelation. It's changed my life for the good. Awesome product. Quiet and precise gear shifts. The grip shift is just so good. I really don't know why people are bring told it's just for the pro's. It has the same if not easier gear ratio than a 2 x 10. Goodbye forever 2 x10

A guy made a u turn in front of me today and then pulled off the road without using his indicator. I did what the female cyclist did and asked the guy to use his indicator. My word, he hooted and shouted at me. I pulled a finger hoping he would come after me.......

I am sick of these drivers. I see drivers skipping stop streets every day and if you argue with them they come at you hard. What's this world coming to. The traffic cops don't give a crap anymore. It's like people are abandoning the rules they were brought up with because even grannies don't stop for stop signs anymore....

They won't let my son enter.... We do 200km every weekend but they say he's too young.... Damn, it would have been a great race
