Marathons do cater for recreational riders but it should not only cater for them, i like hard long distance riding, just bloody awesome

Rabon has done well, he's just turned to mtb from the road....

I see Frantisek Rabon is in Stellenbosch riding around with Sauser. Is he Sausers Cape Epic partner? He switched from road cycling to mtb last year November. From his tweets he seems to enjoy Jonkershoek.

We rode with Matt Beers in the "Hell and Back" race in November 2013. He's an awesome rider, he came 1 st on day 1 and 2. My son came in 9th at the age of 16. Was a hard race, rain and mud.

Theres no cops at night ( has anybody noticed?) so you wont get caught. I have heard of people getting locked up for fixing potholes, so yes you will be locked up. Its ok to drink and drive and urinate in public though, throwing beer bottles out of the window while driving is also acceptable.

When we go on holiday to Knysna we ride on the N2 between Knysna and Plett. That climb just outside out of Knysna to Sedgefield without the shoulder is bloody scary, the buses come SO close.

Lots and bloody lots of glass on the EL to KWT highway. The N6 has a very rough surface to use a roadbike on. The settlers Road to Kidds Beach best option but need to ride in a group as there are places with no shoulder, also road surface is like a babys bottom, very lekker for speed

Add about 4k and get the carbon comp stumpjumper from Specialized. Youll never regret the decision.

In the market for a camera, which one would you guys suggest? Want to use it specifically for safety on the bike. From you tube it looks like the Go Pro has sharper images.
