We (group of +-10) went through there on Saturday morning just after 7am. Went in from Waterkloof side and out into Nelson Mandela Drive. Place was deserted with security at the boom on the Nelson Mandela Drive side. Would definitely not ride their on my own but saw Phillip Buys going in as we were going out.

Wolwe is very close to home so its my go to trails. I agree with you its a very lekker place to ride. I rode with some friends at Hazeldean, it was a nice outing but definitely wont be rushing back.

No way.. I ride at Wolwespruit at least once a week as its about 4km from home. Restaurant is pumping over weekends and during the week so definitely plenty of visitors to the park but the general consensus of most riders I speak to is that Wolwe is too technical for them. Hiking/walking/trail the majority of visitors it seems. They had quite a big shop so I wonder if rent was getting crazy. Anyone know what the new building/development is on the right as you drive in?
