  1. Try to fold a double layer over your nose so it sits snug, single layer lower down over your mouth should then make a bit of a gap to make the breathing easier. I still find that I need to pull it down to my chin when doing harder efforts. Couple of years ago we did a lot of early morning winter rides so got very used to riding with a buff. Wisdom above
  2. My only issue with the buff is that it causes a bit of steam in the nostrils. This opens my sinuses and a serious increase in quality and quantity of snot rockets.
  3. Also didnt get the best service when I bought shoes (great price though) earlier this year before Lockdown. Paid on the Wednesday evening and opted for in store collection as they are pretty close to me. Thursday morning I gave them a call to check if I can come through and collect after work...one of the ladies in the store said she will check it out and let me know...didnt hear anything from them. Friend of mine went to the shop on the Friday morning for something else. I gave him my order number and no other details and he collected the shoes for me . Happy with the shoes and the price!
  4. Just want to say I have had my Kickr Snap for just over two years. I have had zero issues Super product and definitely made lockdown a little bit more enjoyable
  5. Roads here in Pretoria also go pretty quiet around 9h00. I went out a bit late yesterday morning, by 9h00 I was very close to home and decided to do a couple of loops in the streets close to home. First road I turned into...Cops straight ahead and coming towards me . I made a quick left turn into the next street and went straight home.
  6. Another good ride outside on Saturday morning. Really is amazing to see the amount of people in the streets between 8 and 9. Probably the only positive out of this lockdown is seeing all the families riding and walking together.
  7. Have a look at intervals.icu. Connect your strava and it will show you exactly where your form etc is. I am in my 4th week now of a Sufferfest training program. Longest ride has been a 2 hours endurance ride but on Zwift but I will have to go up to at least 3 hours this weekend. Fitness steadily increasing and FTP also up by 25 after a hard 40 minute race on Zwift. I did a lap around the house this weekend. It's 80m but can only do around 9km/h. Not really keen on riding for 3hours and only doing 27km.
  8. Lekker Smurfy BH vs Canyon? Well done on the ride..super commitment
  9. Duane is prepping for next Morzine Always rides like this...
  10. You usually do 1 x 60/80km ride outside on a MTB Now you are doing something completely different. Body will take some time to adapt as theis completely different. If you mimicked your outside ride (which is probably more endurance based) on the indoor trainer your legs wouldn't have noticed the big difference.
  11. Tiger King One more episode to go. Fascinating, have to keep reminding myself this isnt fiction
  12. I have downloaded Rouvy on my desktop but struggling a bit to get everything connected. Will try again tonight when I get a gap. Need to do a longer ride this weekend and Suikerbosrand sounds like a lekker idea

A lot like the whatsapp sound clip that was doing the rounds. Frosty shared it somewhere else.

Agreed, lot of them just pan from left to right which is pretty average.
