  1. Sorry to disappoint but no. Just like crunching numbers.
  2. To clear up the paint job on the frame the OP requested Black on Black which is a legitimate Pinarello Dogma frame color otherwise known as (746 BoB). So I think the Frame was ordered from Wherever Cycle Science get this stuff from with this Frame color right from the start. (It was sprayed in the factory in China where it was produced.) So I don't think it has been resprayed locally.
  3. This is my take on the situation and I could be wrong? Ok so the OP orders the bike on the 21 November 2013? Cycle Science then place the order with there Grey Pinarello suppliers (Factory in China)? This could be why he only got it on the beginning December 2013? As for the 5 year warranty on components, surly a groupset falls under this? and Campagnolo only offer a 3 year warranty on electronic groupsets. So is the shop going to cover the extra 2 years? or buty components that mean all the imported fakes? On the costing "R 37 500-00 for the bicycle (consisting of a frame (at your insistence sprayed a particular shade of black), head set, handle bars, wheels and saddle column)" Ok I get this. Now lets do some maths R91 000.00 - R37 500.00 = R53 500.00 for "The balance of the amount paid by you was for the purchase of a Campagnolo Record (Electronic) group set (consisting of the pedal’s, crank’s, bottom bracket, bearings, front and rear derailers, chain, gear cluster, cables, chain blades and brake mechanisms), a Sella Italia saddle, tyres and tubes for the bicycle and certain related miscellaneous items." Now this is where things don't add up. Campagnolo Record EPS Groupset R40 000.00 I see Pedals are included with the Groupset so i'm guessing they are Time Pedals? Sella Italia Saddle? This is apparently also fake, so for augments sake lets go with the real thing, lets say top of the range SLR Carbon R3 800.00 Tyres and Tubes? R1 500.00 should cover it. Now add that up and you get? R45 300.00 now R53 500.00 - R45 300.00 = R8 200.00 for miscellaneous items? and that's with out the fake Saddle which probably costs R 1 000.00. So what the heck did the OP spend R8 200.00 on or did he get taken on a ride for parts as well?
  4. It appears I was wrong. Looks like Podio Importers is Cycle Science's actual trading name.
  5. Getting back to the dodge invoice, It reminds me of the type of invoice that a shop would quickly throw together when and if a customer needed a warranty on a item but had lost the original invoice.
  6. When a company is doing something dodgy the invoice generally looks dodgy. Then there is the Account name "Podio Importers" surly this can't be Cycle Science's normal trading account? which leads me to ask what else are they importing and selling on the side?
  7. This frame is slightly different to the OP's. look at the internal routing holes. Scary thought that there could be quite a few different fakes being sold as the real deal.
  8. He should have kept his foot on the loud pedal.
  9. All Sampre Pro models are electronic compatible.
  10. It is Illegal to put Shimano components on a Bianchi or any Italian bike for that matter. So go EPS or Wheels and those wheels had better be Campagnolo!!!
  11. Sounds like a Great idea. I'm in.
  12. Sorry for the loss. I am seriously considering laying a trap at events. Place my bike on the rack walk away sit down with a group of mates near by and wait.
  13. I Don't want to get into a slinging match here. Yes I agree that "the OP got diddled by a "reputable LBS", it's neither fair nor pleasant." I checked at the beginning of the year, I checked for a customer who was looking for and upgrade. As I don't know the OP's exact build spec I can't determine value, but if it's value would have been +-150K if all the parts were legitimate then maybe Cycle Science assumed that the OP knew what he was getting if he payed 91K? Now this is no excuse and wrong on so many levels it's shocking and I am deeply saddened hear that this happening in the industry.
  14. This is a bit off topic and I'm not trying to step on anyone's toes but last time I checked a Dogma 65.1 with top end Groupset and Carbon Wheels was about R150K?
  15. ABSA Kwa-Zulu Natal Epic?
  16. Yes, seems to be working well.
  17. I would rather single speed it than pay that R5000+.
  18. A couple things here: 1. If Scott had gone up to Kevin and Fedgroup after the stage and said "come on guy's that not on, do it again and we will report it" I wonder what the response would be? I can see them being told to grow up, that's racing and some colorful words thrown in for good measure. instead of sorry we wont do it again. Considering Kevin in the interview says, it happens all the time and well guy's don't say anything it because that's how racing goes. This indicated to me that he thinks it is ok and he did nothing wrong. 2. Kevin mentions there was a Scott rider was behind him so it's not like the African Jersey was in jeopardy, and thus he gained an advantage over the Scott rider who was behind him and the Outcast riders? 3. From what I can see in the GoPro footage 9 riders got passed: 1x Centurion Vaude, 2x RECM, 3x Fedgroup and they were all in the four posiions in front on Kevin, 1x Songo, 1x BMC, 1x Cannondale. 4. Has for the swearing I could only here the one F#%& that in my opinion was because he had to get off his bike and push rather than aiming it at any one? 5. Max Knox as far as I know hasn't said a word, just kept his views and opinions to himself and I commend him for this. 6. As to the giving up attitude, I think they were saving there legs for the last day and from the little TV coverage I saw of the last stage it looked like Fedgroup were trying for the win. Stand to be corrected but one of there riders was on the front early on think it was Kevin but he kept looking back for his team mate Max I suppose. Guess they just didn't ave the legs as they finished 12th vs 35th the day before.
  19. Sauser does not look like a happy camper on the podium to day.
