    The HD's were fine in Morzine where the trails were snotty/loamy. Riding them in Paarl/Stellies/Welvanpas in the summer is less ideal. Going to move to Butcher front and Ground Control Grid / Ardent rear. Not paying R800 a tyre again if I can help it.

    I couldn't care. I don't own PYGA and I think they are a nice value add to the bike. Was just wondering.

    Just a question out of interest: Are these done with the knowledge and permission of PYGA? Is the "P" emblem not protected?

    Not just the height though. You need to send that bad boy. On the video you see how hard it ejects him over the bars upon landing. Bike slams and then you have to ride it out with 0mm travel left.

    Not in my category of bikes I like to ride, but this looks like the right bike for most Saffas. Also, I am not so sure that you can get a Camber or PygaOneTen with SLX/XT drivetrain, stealth dropper and fox suspension (I reckon the 2015 fox kit is OK) and decent rubber for R32k (or assuming your LBS gives you the standard 10% - R29k). For R30k that's a hell of a lot of bike. I like. What is the standard spec length and width of the stem/bar combo? 60mm with 720mm would make this bike so sweet.

    These pads are the biggest pile on the market. Had two crashes and the lycra just disintigrated leaving me with exactly the same abrasion damage had I been wearing my pyjamas! As for impact resistance, friend came off in France and had a direct impact with a rock on the knee padding. Result was a trip to the emergency room and a bunch of stitches later. Inspection of the pad revealed a massive hole in the padding, rock pierced right through it. I seriously doubt this would have happened with proper 661's or POC's. They're a gimmick and the look crap. R1500 I'll never get back.

    Look, I know zero about suspension designs etc., but the bikes look a LOT alike.

    Thanks to you and Karl! This trip not only changed my outlook on riding, it changed my outlook on life here in SA and just in general. I cannot recommend this trip enough. If you have the cash spare. Do it. Really, it is that good!

    Also, Peaty's response immediately was one of calm. "Allright, sit down" and then basically telling Cathy to stop screaming like a banshee. And Troy coming over making a point of telling Bryce what a good run that was. Gee also getting unfair flack for god knows what reason. He was the first to come and check on Bryce. For some reason because he's more serious and reserved people assume he's an ass. Just like Gwin.
