  1. Ok, now you've got my attention! So what custom built wheelset do you then have, and 2nd more important question, are your wheels at least as stiff as these babies?
  2. Ja good luck guys & girls! If I remember correctly, we have a world champion amounts the disabled riders? Go make us proud. Good luck!!
  3. http://www.starbike.com/php/product_info.php?lang=en&pid=6964 3680 Euro x R9.00 = a WHOPPING R33,120-00 !!!!
  4. How about installing a chip, as they do with your dogs, so it can actually be tracked in case it gets stolen?
  5. Only problem is, you can buy a very nice bike for the price of just the wheelset!
  6. I can certainly vouch for the Zero Gravity brakes! At 80kg's I'm probably better off loosing some weight on my own "frame" than anywhere else on the bike, but these brakes work perfectly fine, and they certainly are stunning to look at and amazingly light.
  7. Ja, must say that TT frame I bought off you is nice and stiff. (and it will need to be for the next few weeks... as my hand is in a cast for 6 weeks, I'll be busting my b@l$$ on the indoor trainer for the next 6 weeks) - the TT bars and bar end shifters are also coming in quite handy to make me a bit more comfortable on the bike. Got any nice pictures of your new "steeds"?
  8. Ok 101%, do tell us how much YOUR new team bike weighs?
  9. Hey guys. Has anybody else noticed the fact that your PM box capacity has DOUBLED in size! (now you can have up to 40 messages in your PM inbox Some great changes Admin, keep up the good work!
  10. Maybe he was on the front because he was riding with the ladies (terg net hoor GRAPKAS... ek het geen idee hoe hard jy gewoonlik werk nie, maar die foto het net kommentaar uitgelok.. )
  11. Unfortunately no joke. Go read the story at www.cyclingnews.com
  12. Hey Cherry! Happy birthday in advance then for tomorrow! I'll be away racing tomorrow, so no internet access, so in advance then HAPPY BIRTHDAY. MAG DIE VOORSPOED JOU VERVEEL!
  13. Welcome back Fatty. So ,got any pictures of PE, (the racing, the water and the GF) ?
  14. you're welcome Icycling. Just noticed you're actually on line
  15. Talk to Icycling.... He's the local stockist of Spinnergy wheels, and if they can hanlde his and Fatty's weight (no offence guys ) then they can handle big guys, even in racing conditions. I know Fatty is very chuffed with his wheelset.
  16. Constant problems with red botton, especially after muddy mtb rides. After my recent fun in the snow, my red button is totally jammed, and all the bottons are "frozen", needs to be sent in again. On the positive side, I have to admit though, IF in Jhb always replaces under warranty and no hassles, (well apart from having to send the watch of to Jo-burg every time)
  17. The wonderful world of "www" Now anybody can have a personal coach.... online is the way to go. Only problem is organising the initial testing to get PPO / max HR and other test values. (But there are various filed tests that can be done to get good accurate values).
