  1. My guess; Google Translate in action
  2. Ah yes, although he would have been fine if he used the @kevinevansfunride handle instead
  3. Oh the irony
  4. Well, it does come with a luggage rack. And apart from the frame colour, I think my mail man has the same one.
  5. a) It's nothing personal against Kevin. The thread is not called "Kevin suck", although by association he is included in the "Doper suck" category. The reason Kevin's name is mentioned is because firstly he cheated, and secondly he chooses to participate in races fun rides ( ) whilst still under suspension. b) I'm sure it's personal to people that try to earn a living as a pro but are struggling to do so as a result of cheaters having an unfair advantage
  6. Keep it up guys, the less people with a diamond the better my chances for the lucky draw ????
  7. You tell them Kevin. PS, how was the fun ride? Did you win?
  8. How in the name of Poiseidon’s garden fork did you manage 5 plays???
  9. Played the gameboard, only 1 play available, despite the mail from last week stating that an extra play will be available this week. Was very excited to see that I got a diamond, but then saw that this only means that I’ve been entered into a draw for one of the big prizes
  10. Feels-like-Monday <rant> I'm not sure if it's only me, but I'm starting to wonder if Vitality is actually worth the effort. Don't get me wrong, the rewards are great but the amount of admin involved is becoming a serious pain in the buttocks. In the last few months I had to log queries for the following: Discovery baby, can't register. Fix only expected in October. (I personally logged a query in May so at least been outstanding for 5 months!)Discovery drive dashboard not pulling in driver behaviour despite DQ track working 100%. Been ongoing for a year, gets fixed when I log the issue, a month later I have the same problem. They've checked the unit (how it can be the unit when DQ Track works is beyond me)Getting "Points not allocated" on Vitality points allocation. Have to log query every so often to have it resolved again.Vitality shoe booster payments not happening, logging query again this morning for last month.(Strange that they don't notice when they miss a payment but try missing your premium for a month and see how quickly they notice that. This above is excluding other regular issues e.g. gameboard not working (In the first week!!), connectivity issues, authentication issues etc etc. It's getting really old to log almost weekly queries; I am not Discovery's QA department but it sure is starting to feel that way. </rant>
  11. Pretty much bang-on the bluebook value https://www.bicyclebluebook.com/searchlistingdetail.aspx?id=3061331
  12. At that price I don’t really care for Omnico’s warrantee, at almost a third of the price I can just get another 2 replacements
  13. Don’t think they replace batteries, my Fenix did the same and it was a R2000 swapout for a new Fenix3 (At least I got upgraded to Fenix3 HR Sapphire)
  14. Took my Fenix 3 in to have altimeter checked (way off) and to have battery replaced as it was no longer holding charge and going flat in a couple of days. Was offered a brand new Fenix 3 HR Sapphire for R2000 even though original was almost 3 years old and long out of warranty. Went through Navworld, but they just ship it off to Garmin in any event
  15. Submitted return on 16 July; added supporting documentation 20 July. Still waiting for refund. Escalated through SARS call centre this morning
  16. a) Is it because the room was warmer and you had less "shrinkage"? b) I'm no John Nash but I'm pretty sure it might be slightly more than 90min/week
  17. Ugh, I feel your pain, I’ve been trying to register my wife on Vitality baby for the last month with the same issues you’re experiencing. Query logged, no feedback after two weeks. Have to phone again on Monday (by coincidence -or not- also Lerato). Really grinds me to constantly follow up with people
  18. Just activated it without any issue. However, I've been a member of Team Vitality since the start of the year so no initiation fee was applicable. Have you tried maybe becoming a Team Vitality member (and pay the membership fee), and then activating the shoe booster? (It works out the same)
  19. Few things, in addition to your health stats (blood pressure/cholesterol/blood sugar) and activity levels, they also check stuff like stress levels, nutrition,BMI,whether you're depressed or not (all from Disco online surveys)

    Give it a TRI

Non-athletic friends are one thing, Ironman widows are another matter altogether. . Really tough balancing family and training especially if you have little one as well. I can see why long-distance triathletes have such a high divorce rate (Google it, it's a real thing)
