  1. Very Likely! This bike with XT groupset, alloy handlebar, stem and seatpost came in at 10.6kg The wheelset is Mavic Crossmax SLR at 1440g, not much to gain here but with XTR and carbon components, you will be smiling!
  2. I agree, from a practical piont it is much easier. Given, the routing on something like a Spez does look nice but those jobs that normally took 5min can quickly turn into 45min job
  3. We are not talking about components, that is for the frame only. I can build it with whatever components your heart desire!
  4. *sounds Admin why do I get so many double post when using the mobile site?
  5. A dual sus with internal routing all the way ounds great and will look great but how practical will it be? Even top end road bikes with internal routing can be a pain in the chain.
  6. Retail is in die omgewing van R33k ... maar as jy my kontak om jou bestelling te plaas, sal ek vir jou n lekka prys gee!
  7. Internal cable routing for your dropper post, should you choose to use it!
  8. Nice new chain stay protectors, much better than the previous thick slap sock you had to velcro on!
  9. This bad boy was built up last week Excuse the quality photos, taken with the mobile
  10. Caad 4 for sure. Ultegra is second from the top, Tiagra is second from the bottom
  11. Both are out of stock. They might be getting more adapters towards the end of the month, I called them just now.
  12. Found this and it looks like it will work but it wont change the fact that your unit will be sitting pretty high on the mount since the adapter fills the quarter turn mount and then you put the unit on top of that. http://www.bikerumor.com/2013/06/18/sram-brings-quickview-to-mountain-bikes-adds-computer-adapter-for-605-and-705/ We tried getting hold of them last week but were told that they bought in only 20 and they are all gone
  13. Do you even know what my reasons are for not supporting the agenda/petition? It has nothing to do with supporting DaVinci personally and the agenda/petition was not only about one person. Yet you feel I should support something I dont agree with? I dont feel the need to go into my reasons here anyway. How I obtained my valid and legal membership has f-all to do with you. And I did not comment, I posted a photo. Now go and ride your bike ... off a cliff!
  14. The little plastic bit of the Sram mount will fit the 705 on one side. That little plastic bit will not fit into any of the other mounts, K-edge or Barfly unless you modify it. The K-edge has bolts through the little plastic bit that screws into the mount
  15. Not sure I understand your question? The 705 wont work on K-edge mounts, quarter turn for 500, 510, 800 and 810 Dont know about KCNC. Barfly also has the quarter turn mount. Far as I know Sram bought only 20 of those in to SA, but they all gone
  16. I wrote a reply on a thread about the differences between Edge 500 vs 510 somewhere but to lazy to search now. Thedifferences may not seem that obvious until you start using it and it is definetly worth the upgrade to the 510 or 810. I dont recall that clearly being mentioned in DC's review
  17. What? I cant see anything
  18. That still looks boring
  19. Get the stallion!
  20. Oh yea! How can we forget so quickly after your Cannondale Lefty thread, that you are the resident go-to expert for advice, opinions and reviews on forks and suspensions? If we went with your (ill)logic argument, the OP should not even be looking at dual suspension bikes ... or 29ers ... because Nino won ... on a hardtail ... 650b! That is a benchmark review on the Maestro Suspension System and Fox CTD rear shox, well done!
  21. It is friendly if you avoid Welgevonden, Kayamandi, Jamestown, Eden, that other kop and quite a couple of other places in the bos.

Yea thats why your start bunch is so important when aiming for a sub 3. With geat weather and including Boyes drive you have a shot at sub 3 up to C bunch. With great weather and no Boyes drive you have a shot at sub 3 up to D bunch and maaaybe E if there are some eager beavers working from the get go. Furher back than that ... keep the dream alive and try again the following year .... whooopla?
