    GCN+

Milan Sanremo and the Giro! all on GCN+. Biggest bargain this year so far.
  3. I honestly have not experienced any issues. I prefer to deal with long time hubbers. And happy to wait until seller/buyer is able to reply. Most of my upgrades I have bought from fellow hubbers. I don't mind second hand if the condition is great. I generally offer what I can afford and think is still reasonable and the seller has full right to decline, counter or accept. The same curtesy I have afforded to buyers of my advertised goods. So from my side. Its always been pleasant dealing with fellow hubbers.
  4. Did a 90km loop around Polka, Hells, Simondium, Klapmuts, Elsenburg and back to Brackenfell. Stunning, day, road, and ride. Just me and my Dale. the hard work on the trainer and diet is paying dividends.

big fan! I've been an avid follower of GCN from their early days. 70% of what I've learned of riding and taking care of my bike, right up to building up my bikes is from GCN. SO GCN+ is taking that quality to a new level. Enjoying the races and docs thoroughly
  6. nope. dont do virtual. refuse to. will go ride the route on my own and enjoy the view
  7. Broke 90 on Friday! A massive milestone for me! Got me pumped
  8. some strong contenders for todays race.
  9. My pride and joy. It is still the American made frame. She came in at 7.8kg's when I first got her for a bargain. I changed the handlebars, stem, rings and cassette. So I'm guessing its around 8kg now. Running Ultegra 6700 (I think). Bit old, but still smooth as butter. Got some Black oval's from a fellow hubber and 11-28 at the back. Love this bike. Smoothest, most comfortable ride of all the bikes I have owned. I'll still take some nice, GCN-worthy photos at some point.
  10. mopkop, you know of group rides in Brackenfell. very much interested
  11. started mid Jan with a Calorie counter app. along with GCN hiit sessions in the week and tits on weekend. dropped the first 5 kg (96 to 91) in relative ease in about 5 weeks. but have been bouncing between 90.4 and 90.9 for the last week. Frustrating. need to get to 85 as goal
  12. Love being back on the bike. Its been a rollercoaster the last year of lockdown, and stolen bike and company troubles. got a bargain on a Cannondale SuperSix October last year. And the first couple rides were horrible. I was overweight and damn unfit. The vettie in the white and brown is me. Mid-January, I changed my diet, started turbo HIIT sessions at night and pushing the km's over weekend. Dropped the kg's and got fitter. Still a-ways to but it feels amazing. On Saturday, I tackled Devonvale and Helshoogte. It was amazing. Good to be back

Just subcribed yesterday... last minute FOMO. Caught the highlights of Neeuwsblad and KBK. and got lost in the documentaries - 80 days and the descend one. Good quality viewing that. I'm also weekly on the trainer with GCN training videos to great success, and the ones I see on GCN+ are going to be awesome. Looking forward to some suffering tonight. All in all. WInner chicken dinner

  18. Thank you sir. That I did. Havent smiled that broadly in a good while.
  19. Finally got back on my bike six weeks after chappies crash. Shoulder still not 100% but much better, which still affects my climbing. Chest is fine. Feels magic to visit Devonvale again. Remains a magic hill.
  20. Mighty proud of that boytjie
  21. Got to ride the pass between kleinmond and Gordon's bay. Cold but beautiful morning. Dodged some baboons. Those guys are big up close! It is now one of my favorite roads to ride. Absolutely beautiful.
  22. one of my favorite hills! absolutely love the climb. btw, I dig Charles kit! Where can I get one?
  23. Finally got to climb Franschoek pass. Only took 126km of riding to do it. Was mother cold though. Snot froze inside your nose!
