Yep! We spend hours and hpours on the Klapperkop hill on our DH track..... The lips for the jumps is destroyed after 2 or 3 XC runs. The XCers riding the track don't have the skill or bikes to launch the jumps and destroy the lips, they further drag there brakes and it causes "brake ruts" and nocks rocks into the track At the end of the day it is the DHers that needs to fix the track again!

Last I heard a group of 5 was not numbers enough.....

Yes you can extend a steerer - you need to take it to a "fitter shop". It will add a bit of weight but it can be done

QUESTION - It is said that helmets have a life of about 3 year before you need to replace them due to the "foam" becooming brittle or something..... How does this influance helmets sitting on a shop floor / factore floor for 1 or 2 years Does this mean that if one buys that helmet you can only safly use it for 1 or 2 years?

Thanks to all! I got my fork serviced by Spokeworx (Great guy and great service). Fork is running smooth again - but he confirmed that discoloration is starting but nothing to worry about yet. Cheers!

Thanks - yes my frame is to small got a medium instead of a Large...... unfortuantly a seatpost is cheaper than a frame :-(

Hi, I have a Fox 36 fork, have been using it for about 3-4 years. The fork was and is service about twice a year.... I thin the stanctions might need replacement as it is starting to show discolaration (the gold colour is starting to turn silver on the stanctions)..... The fork also feels "sticky" when pressed down - you can feel it grabbing the dust seals and then letting go and then it grabs again and lets go (if pressed down - don't feel this when riding). My question: 1) How do I know if the coating on the stanctions is worn out? 2) Any idea of price if I want to replace the stanctions with crown and steerer obviously 3) Is it common for a forks stanctions to be worn out?
