  1. Polar protrainer 5 and Polarpersonal trainer.com has more data than I could every use
  2. Okay so far all positive
  3. I am looking to put a new seatpost on my MTB (yes I am trying to save a few grams) but not at the expense of reliabilty. I have a KCNC pro lite TI on my road bike and I dont worry about it breaking or snapping at all. But the abuse an MTB takes vs. the road bike is a different story does anyone have some words of wisdom to share on 1. Is the KCNC on an MTB a bad idea? 2. What seat post would you recomend Current set up I am using a Bontrager RL 400mm 0 degree offset post at the moment, it works 100% but it is on the heavy side. I am below 90kgs and I like to ride at places like VG / rietvlei and I will be doing the 3 towers to give you an idea of the type of terrain i will be riding.
  4. Am I understanding you correctly, you are saying the the Hygia's are similar in feel to the Formula RX but just a little heavier?
  5. No comments on the Hygia SLP? I havent used them but I hear they are decent I know they are not top end, but it would bve good to get some feedback on them

  7. Hi Wendell will there also be rides on a Thursday?
  8. Can all riders who are interested in doing the Thursday night ride please post on this thread. I will then ask Wendell to look at getting a mailing list going so we all knwo when and where the night rides will take place.
  9. Hi Wendell, would it be possible to set up a mailing list so that you can send out an email to all the riders on the list (simlilar to what Kyalami does) to let them know when there will be night rides Start time Meeting point Cost I think there are a few riders looking to do some night rides but they dont want to risk arriving at the location and there is no one else there and the ride doesnt happen. I am keen to join you on a Tuesday or Thursday
  10. I wont be going tonight due to a lack of confimed riders
  11. I think it starts at 18:30
  12. I dont have a spare light but I have a head lamp that you could use
  13. No takers?
  14. I just called the Cycle Hub at Rietvlei and they confirmed that should there be sufficent numbers the Thursday night ride will be held. Is anyone keen to join this ride? I would like to have enough confirmed riders before I pitch there and there is no ride due to lack of riders.
  15. Same here but when I added all the other stuff to the cart it took me to the screen to say I am on the waiting list.

  20. Okay I run 2bar as well, I run race King back and XDX upfront. I have updated the diameter Thanks Now for the road bike 700ccx23 8,5 bar
  21. I have a polar and use it on my MTB and Road bike the wheel diameter I have set are MTB 2100mm Road bike 2115mm This was done by rolling the wheel one full rev and then measuring the distance between the start and stop lines, Do these numbers sound right?
  22. I looked at the website and the only differnce I can see is th Rl has remote lock out while the R doesnt other than that same fork
  23. +1 I do a 4 step process Step 1: Take cain off and clean it in a Coke bottle with benzene clean cassette RD FD and chain rings with clean green, Rinse and dry chain Step 2: Run chain through chanin cleaner with clean green in it Step 3: Dry chain and lube every second roller with White lighting wet ride rotate cranks sevral times, wipe off excess lube with soft dry cloth Step 4: Apply Boeshield T9 while rotating cranks- rotate cranks- allow to dry for 4 hours- wipe off excess Works like a charm, chain runs in all conditions and stays clean for 2 or 3 long rides.
