  1. Beyond burgers are great, Im making some tonight. Definitely not cheap and not very healthy but oh so gooooood!
  2. It looks a bit like the lovechild of a Santa Cruz and a Yeti.
  3. Come now, you cant post in here without any update pics on your workbench!!
  4. I use tons of CA but not for what most people would use it for. Its pretty much like plastic when it dries so I use it as a finish for pens that I turn. Once its sanded and polished with buffing compound it comes out looking like glass.
  5. I like AEG tools, I think you got a pretty good deal there. It helps that you now have more batteries for the rest of your AEG tools that you already had.
  6. Tell me about it!! Fortunately I scored a good deal on Onedayonly today for an ergonomic chair that I have been wanting for for a while, so that takes the sting out a little.
  7. I bought my wife a vivomove about a week ago, it was at the full price
  8. There are a few, Im assuming most just dont want to put up their hand because that would place them in the vegan team along with you?
  9. 2012? is it back to the future?
  10. Plant based also carries other benefits for digestion with all of the fiber and easily digestible foods. There are many endurance and high performance athletes who are vegan so there should be no notable benefits to a meat based over plant based diet.
  11. I wonder how long it will be until these types of services that support fraud are looked at. The previous one was Skrill, it seems they use them because they are not traceable.
  12. The higher memory numbers on newer cards is just for handling higher resolutions. If you game at 1080p then its not as much of a big deal. Heck Im still on an RX580 GPU and it still merrily handles anything I throw at it.
  13. There I fixed it for you I remember the CUD days, it was an expensive time.
  14. I dont believe Louis has it to be honest. He is getting older and not improving, compared to the up and coming younger riders he isnt there. The other problem is that it takes consistency in performance to be a GC contender, he has shown many times that he might have a good day or two but doesnt have enough of them to be in contention. Hopefully he proves me wrong, I wouldnt mind that at all, Im just not going to hold my breath waiting for it to happen.
  15. I spoke to a service guy about these machines when I noticed one in the queue, he says they are bullet proof. Steel gears etc where most of the newer ones are plastic. Parts are still available and they last a long time.
  16. I have a Makita 235mm circ saw, its just too big and heavy for most of the tasks you would want one for. The only time its been really useful was for making cuts through beams without needing to rotate 4 times.
  17. Tools4wood is busy putting one together at the moment with woodwork specific machinery. Looks like its going to be really nice.
  18. That looks really cool. If you know exactly what you need to do and get yourself ready then it could be worth it. Things like wide beltsanders for live edge slabs etc would be awesome, if you had to pay someone to do that for you it would end up costing more Im sure.
  19. Just chop off the end of a multi-plug and attach it like that, that way the whole multi-plug can be automated and you can plug whatever you like into it. I have a POW R2 on a short extension cable, I use it to monitor power consumption of various devices. I have flashed mine with Tasmota to make it easier to integrate into my home automation platform.
  20. There are a ton of locally available ones running on the Tuya platform. You can set schedules or just remotely turn it on/off using the app. They generally cost around R300 - R500 each. Most should work, I doubt the machine is going to be pulling more than 12 amps, but if it does then a Sonoff POW R2 will work fine being rated at 16 amp, it also has the benefit of having a built in power meter.
  21. Mocha pots are still my favourite way to make coffee, I just use the bean to cup more often. That vid makes me want to break out the Bialetti.
  22. The sock police should be along shortly.
  23. Haha! Roux, you are still such a nutter
  24. The thing about this bike that does it for me, is that you know Specialized. You know their bikes are expensive and you know they are all about the marketing. ... You also know that no matter how much you want to hate them, that they make some exceptional products. Sure its not the lightest you can build and you could get the same weight for cheaper, but you are not going to make as complete a package as this bike. I think its awesome.
  25. Yeah wow that clip sounds absolutely terrible!! I watched the whole series too and it was nothing like this clip. Definitely a good series to watch for building tips.
