  1. I heard they wee sitting down
  2. Could swear its Friday already
  3. Im just going to do more races to improve my seeding for next year. was frustrating to say the least but got the change to enjoy the view this year
  4. that was a truly world class event! Anything and everything was taken into consideration, food was great and the people were awesome! Day 2 was the best riding I have ever done in this country (just need to be faster overall so I can enjoy the drop down to the Umkho and not have to live on my brakes behind slower riders) rookie mistake on Day 2, not turning my mattress sideways and found my feet poking out my tent in the middle of the night as I slowly slid down. And having the pros start last on day 3 is a cool idea but what a mess for the fast guys towards the end. My sister racing for the podium in Mixed almost wiped a guy out who decided to come to a complete stop before a little mud puddle. apart from that, what an awesome event. should be on everyones bucket list
  5. Save legs for the 2nd half of the race and take it easy on the downhills, with all the rain we had, I have no doubt it will be a bit sketchy in places
  6. its not like they are running an Ad free webpage either, most days I cant tell the difference between an article and an Ad
  7. Roof racks are great and all, but have a few downsides, Remembering bikes on the roof Higher fuel consumption (Just my roof bars with no bike added over 1L/100km If you are short it can be a mission getting a bike up there Wind noise, my lefty whistles like a school kid on tuck shop day when going over 70kmh despite all the downsides, I still prefer having my bikes on the roof vs on the back of my Fiesta
  8. Have you fitted 3 bikes to this Bones 3EX? Or are you referring to another brand? We have a lot of clients using it without issues. Some bikes may need some protection pads in a few areas but otherwise no issues.
  9. Saris Bones 3EX will work, Dog leg arm will clear the boot spoiler, unlike other competitors
  10. The Saris H3 is a great option, Quiet, reliable, well priced and can compete with the best of them. Easiest serviceability on the market, takes anyone 10 minutes to swap out a belt and get back to training
  11. What a beautiful Country! Hopefully one day soon
  12. Can second this, often a "dirty environment" can cause issues with Zwift, we recommend to clients to change their router settings from 2.4GHz to 5GHz for a more stable connection.
  13. Its on my list when I decide to upgrade from my Scalpel. The 120 version is very appealing
  14. Same here, But I found, drinking, partying and girls way more fun then riding my bike at the time😂
  15. I raced up in Jozi. You were a couple years ahead and could have been u23 when I joined juniors
  16. There used to be a guy who raced Junior with us about 15 years ago, here in SA. He would roll to the back of the bunch, sit on one side of the seat and just let it go. No warning, no nothing. If you saw him falling back, you made sure you weren't in his slip. Otherwise there's a golden shower coming for you😂
  17. just find that buddy willing to push you along while you do it. For some reason, it feels like an absolute lifetime trying to empty the bladder while the group sneaks away
  18. Ask Reform Cycling. Leeroy should be able to source one for you
  19. Dagleys Cycles at the entrance to Eagle Canyon behind the GM dealership
  20. Networking with other, bigger LBS in the area will be best as key spare part suppliers such as Cape Cycles and CoolHeat wont even look your way yet. Once things are set up, pop me PM and we can have a chat
  21. So are my legs 😂
  22. And Cycles2U or Trinity Cycles at Harties Dam?
  23. Did the 62k on my MTB in AS. Averaged 40kmh for the first 32k or so, then got shelled after we turned left to head back. Was brutal with a 34T, Kudos to the guy on the Hardtail for sticking with the chasing group to the end! You roadies can be rapid!
  24. Im from Bicycle Power, the guys who do Saris in SA. This is our first Repair station we have set up with more to follow. We are looking at putting this infrastructure in at Petrol stations on popular cycle routes as they are monitored 24hrs a day and always have a light source. Keep an eye out in the future for more of these!
  25. Hope a less sketchy, rideable one is built in its place
