  1. QQ - is anyone aware of, has heard of or knows somebody who has had a carbon repair done that has subsequently failed? I certainly haven't but I have seen a few original carbon forks etc that have failed.
  2. That’s a bit harsh. Don’t be a knob
  3. I haven't a clue what you're talking about mostly, but I am always impressed to read or listen to the words of a passionate expert in their field.
  4. That was my commuting bike from Hilton to PMB and back for a couple of years at high school. Machine of note
  5. Good luck boss - looking forward to hearing The good news after
  6. Popped into my MTB mechanic today and he gave me this little gift.
  7. [emoji23] - chukky has never been an advocate for Apple Watch. Not sure if he has ever owned one.
  8. Judging by the number of people who seem to have gone that way, the service works.
  9. That is beautiful
  10. Presumably what Garmin are giving you as a replacement is a refurbished unit. Thus the shorter warranty on it. A very common business model that works really well to the benefit of the consumer and the manufacturer. Shop the broken/worn out unit to a production line style facility where bulk refurbs can be done.
  11. 100% - I can’t help physically but happy to help towards some movers
  12. The Pros are something else. Just incredible
  13. New Bike Day
  14. Amanzimtoti to Pietermaritzburg is a *** scary road. Also if he goes scottburgh through highflats not worth the risk, especially at night. Those roads are horriffic. Get a lift man
  15. A little gadget for my new bike which I am hopefully getting tomorrow
  16. Hi, Are you considering international shipping or do you have a distributor in the UK?
  17. Not a big purchase, but the first set of road shows I have ever bought new. My original pair I got from a mate 10 years ago. He had discarded them as they were too old and lent them to me to try riding clipless on the road. Used them ever since Bought the Black DHB’s on Sunday at CRC, and went back today and bought the NW. now I have to decide which ones to return.
  18. Looks stunning though.
  19. That is beautiful - congratulations
  20. Couldn’t agree more.
  21. 100% - I am a huge advocate for firearm ownership, but, as with bicycles, fast cars, knives etc etc, every stupid act or poorly considered statement does the reputation of all legal firearm owners harm. Right, that’s me out. This stuff just makes me mad.
  22. Read it in the context of his original post. After years and years in the firearms business in SA, I got so sick and tired of people making throwaway comments like that and further harming the reputation of legal gun owners. Implying that you are going to take a semi auto rifle down to the spruit and the river is going to flow red, or some such nonsense, does not exactly scream responsible firearm owner, regardless of whether he was serious or not. I remember when it became incredibly difficult to buy semi auto rifles in the late eighties, all because some ******** converted a semi auto to full auto and emptied a mag at a shooting range where a cabinet minister happened to be. One stupid act made it more difficult for thousands of us to enjoy our sport.
  23. What, you’re going to walk around with your AR randomly shooting people or specific people? There’s a bit of a difference between self defence and going looking
