  1. I just wish they'd fix their crap app. That is a real piece of shyte !!!!!!
  2. Seeing that there's so much money to be made here, do you think a re-match is already on the cards ? Maybe McGregor kicks Mayweather and hes disqualified in the 7th round and the official talk of the re-match can start. After all this is all about the MONEY
  3. A nice show to make a lot of money for some people and then there'll be a re-match to milk it again. Some promoter had a very good idea and it's coming together.
  4. I got 600 points for the Audax obviously I tried 3 times harder than you (which explains a lot)
  5. I'm with you here but won't be at the cradle on Sunday. Will stick to my side but with all the rain predicted I might just stay in bed.
  6. Hi, The team captain is busy with it. Pretty sure he would have email Racetec don't know who specifically though. Don't think they've responded yet as he hasn't updated us. How did your results go wrong ? From our side Racetec hasn't posted results for 5 of our team members, it's like they weren't even there. Suppose Racetec will have to make sure they started and that they went over the mat after the feeding zone and then at the end again.
  7. 8 of us went over the line, Racetec only registered 4 of us and then the last 2 team members which were like an hour behind. 1 guy had to pull out with a knee problem the other 5 have no times what so ever. We made sure the 3 ladies in our team went over the mats before the 6th person (3rd guy) but chip never registered. I gave 1 of my bottles to one of the ladies in our team as she had finished all the fluids, I had enough to get me to the water point but when I got there and their was no water / coke .
  8. We also had a great day out on the bikes. Had a small crash in our team which dampened our spirits a bit. Managed the climb with my 39/25 Racetec have also messed up our teams results. Half the team has no results. My only major GRIPE is that when we got to Water Point 4 (just after mine shaft) there was absolutely nothing to drink, no water, no coke, no f0k all. Our team planned to re-group there and refill our bottle which ended up being a major stuff up. Saw some guys at the bottom near that garage looking for a tap. That was terrible PPA !!!!!! Hopefully they have it on the same weekend next year and we'll be back. The organisers also make the race sound so difficult but it's completely manageable. Got to about 130km with 1200m of climbing - 94.7 is harder than that (94km with 1200m climbing) The next 47km do get tough but the mine shaft peaks at 16% and is about 800m long, the zig zag before the mine shaft is also tough, some found that harder than the mine shaft. Pity L'Etape was scheduled for the same weekend otherwise there would have been a bigger field. PPA please plan the water points properly and make sure that water point 4 (which is the most important WP) is properly stocked !!!!
  9. As long as the mind in strong you'll be ok. I'm a roadie so I don't really know what I'm talking about though
  10. I think you and I are in a similar boat. For me the peaking part seems to be a myth. I'm sure you'll do very well at C2T. You've put in some serious mileage.
  11. I'm surprised that you know what tapering is. Now I understand why that MonsterCross bike has become your new best friend and it's not even a SPAZ.
  12. RIP Sir Crashes a lot. No more crashes where you are now. Condolences to the family and friends. Be free Barry !!!
  13. Mine has been there since the 21st Feb. They might be making friends as they going to the same neighbourhood
  14. I didn't want to go that far back as it would give my age away But yes, 14.4, 28.8, 56k At the one stage had satellite, send via modem and receive via satellite
  15. I started off with a Cell C 10GB contract, put the sim into a 3G modem and into a Router. Then we went onto a 1MB line, then a 2MB line and now 4MB line. Often wonder how on earth we managed on a 1MB and 2MB line. Would upgrade tomorrow if I could. Never mind the rain dance, I need to do the Fibre dance
  16. 12MB ADSL and 10MB Fibre - you guys are making me sad !!!! 4MB is ok if I'm alone at home but yes 10MB; 12MB; 20MB, etc is much, much better
  17. IMO a 4Mps line isn't enough. I'm also stuck with a 4Mbps line and it sucks. You have small kids who aren't interested in the interwebs. My kids rape that line until it can no more. I pray each day for fibre but my prays haven't been answered - yet. My line is currently dead and it takes Telkom weeks to come and fix it. But I live in hope.
  18. I've got 39x25 on my bike and that's what I'll go with. Hopefully I'll survive on that.
  19. After Sunday (R4S) I'm starting to panic. Got a bit of a hiding from the B bunch and now I need a small miracle to be fit enough for this event. On the bright side my team is a bit of a social team and we plan to finish together.
  20. And they are... You have super powers Can you help with my bank account balance
  21. Is there a solution ? Obviously Vitality haven't fixed it yet.
  22. The App somehow drank my 3 smoothies that I had. Got to the Kauai counter this morning, open the app and it tells me there are no rewards. Even the rewards that I received on Wednesday are gone. However on the rewards pages there's a red circled 2 which normally means that there are 2 rewards available. I still needed to choose from Vida or Kauai. First time this has happened to me.
  23. Doubt that it's worth getting it fixed. R 400 - R500 for one in the classifies section. Obviously you've replaced the battery and tried a different magnet. (I've had to change magnets because the one I used wasn't strong enough - not the original Garmin one).
