  1. 2012 model https://www.specialized.com/za/en/camber-29/p/36178?color=80562-36178&searchText=9322-7302 Depending on the service history of the fork and shock as well as the drive train I will venture a guess of between 12 - 15k
  2. I will gift you some 10 speed stuff to get you going
  3. Something like this: https://bikehub.co.za/classifieds/item/hardtail-mountain-bike-frames/600965/titanium-mtb-frame-fork Saw this ad for the first time pre-COVID and the price has remained the same since the first time it was listed
  4. Use an 11 speed cassette
  5. I believe a normal BB tool will work

  7. https://bikehub.co.za/classifieds/item/dual-suspension-bikes/792032/trek-fuel-ex this looks to me like a great deal. I also have some on offer but this one will be better than what I can offer
  8. SRAM and Shimano does have different distances per click on the cable but I am sure you'll be able to get it close to working 100%
  9. Yes, the rails can creak
  10. It will work yes, no need to upgrade everything. Just set the L screw to ensure the chain doesn't drop between the cassette and spokes
  11. I do have a few options but what size do you need so that I can get one or two options
  12. I am in PTA East and do have some stock
  13. If you can get a set of 26er wheels I can provide the rest
  14. Take some photos and send it on, I will be able to tell
  15. You'll be better off getting a 26er
  16. I do have some forks yes. Tapered or straight steerer?
  17. Good yes.
  18. You're welcome to try mine. I have a few options available
  19. Do you have a smart trainer . Just joking
  20. Ya, I agree, "junk miles" sounded harsh but yes, that was what I meant when I used the term. A lot of times you end up joining a group or cycling solo and not hitting the zones you planned / hoped. Good luck with the new journey to better fitness
  21. Two things that work for me: Have a race to work towards, in your case: Check Use the indoor trainer for the majority of the time to ensure that I do not log junk miles. I do then not hit 10k km per annum but I know that every mile logged was a good one
  22. It's a new fork so I can't give an in depth review but it does look fairly decent
  23. If you're set on a L you're welcome to look at my bike (punt incoming) - It is a MTB frame I turned into a gravel monster with some proper kit. Don't worry too much about the price, I know the owner 😁: https://bikehub.co.za/classifieds/item/gravel-bikes/778963/l-gt-zaskar-team-carbon I also have a 54 road bike frame and fork if you want me to transfer the bits from the GT I will be able to do that as well
