Here's a thought...maybe the 29er feels slow and sluggish because it's covering the same distance over a shorter stroke. So if you pedalled the same cadence, you would be going too fast for your normal style if you did singletrack.

Is it just my imagination or has Oakpics.com not reply to emails? They have no online facility for ordering photos which they take at races, and have stated that you need to email them to get pics from their website. So far 2 emails from me, and 1 from my friend and NOTHING!!!! Either the service is bad or they r ignoring me.

depends on what you want to do with your frame.The Anthem 2 has 3.5 inches of travel and is very light. great XC setup for racing . The sensor has 6 inches (i think-could be 5) of travel. Great for all mountain, and is much heavier. Course this also depends on what fork you're planning to use??

better to buy from some one on the hub. The wheels they sell are usually good wheels,and if they are not , noone wants a bad rep on the hub.

i thought the same of my bike at some stage, then realised that it was the rear wheel that was buckled slightly. Check your wheels.

Better check your clothing . Has a nasty habit of being flung up by the rear tyre. ...I know, it's happened to me once and it landed on the seat and halfway up my back. Luckily it was dogs.

Hey guys Wondering if only DT swiss, mavic, and hope hubs can be converted to a 15mm axel for the front shock. Can other hubs be rebuilt and converted? or should i buy a new hub and have the wheel rebuilt? Thanx

Hey guys. It's a common topic again. To the team that rode through Hout Bay the other day in the white outfits with pink logos, you guys need to respect other road users if you want them to respect you. Just some points to remember when cycling as a team.... 1. Most road users are unaware that you are not going to look before swerving into their way. 2. most road users are unaware that you are going to suddenly swerve out to form a peloton when you feel like it. 3. Most road users are in heavier vehicles than your bicycle. I was about 20m behind them and kept distance and a good thing too. Had i been closer 2 of your team mates would be toast. Safe riding is always the better way to go. Nuff said.

They eat anything..... I lived with them in three seperate construction camps for three and a half years. A lot of what cultures eat depends on how poor the culture is. We can complain because we are used to eating beef, chicken, pork and lamb..and then only the choice cuts. Poorer cultures eat everything including the inards,the feet,the ears etc..stuff that we baulk at. They waste nothing unlike us.It becomes part of your cultural dishes then. So ja, i would maybe have also insulted them, depending on what the situation was. If you are with a poorer family, dont insult them and eat whta they give you.
