  1. New SLX brakeset from CRC I was a bit surprised at the packaging, everything loosely packed in plastic bags inside a bubble pack envelope. I thought these came in boxes. The rotors were rubbing against each other, slight paint damage. The levers also have slight scuff marks. Is this normal for CRC?
  2.   &Very nice new bike, enjoy the trails.
  3. Nice man! Wish we had more opportunities like that in the Eastern Cape.
  4. Toast and chicken noodle soup, too boring to take a pic.
  5. My Anthem took me to Hopewell on Saturday.

  11. I'm sure you do.
  12. I ordered a few small items in September last year with the free shipping option. Big mistake in my case. I've phoned and visited my local PO numerous times and sometimes I can see the person is actually trying to help me, but they have nothing for me, and they tell me there are more than 1 million parcels like mine still being sorted in JHB. I'll still buy goods from CRC but will rather use the DHL option and work the cost into the whole purchase.
  13. Hopewell now has a game loop, awesome ride, plenty animals to see.
  14. My Anthem with fork set to 120mm travel.
  15. My LBS had to use extra rim tape to fit the Ikons and they still seem to lose pressure.
  16. My bike took me around Slipperfields Venom and then the newish Viper trail. The Venom seems to have some new routing which has some brutal climbs which I pushed/walked up. Still a great trail. I'd heard the Viper was very technical so was prepared to walk when it looked to rough or steep. Well that was the most fun I've had recently, challenging with short steep climbs followed by nice twisting up and down rollercoasters and stayed on the bike all the way. If you're from the area or visiting, ride these trails if you have not yet.
  17. Muddy Norm Hudlin for my last ride of 2014. All the best to everyone.
  18. Now why didn't I think of putting the tool bottle upside down, so simple, thank you sir.
  19. Max on the left 6 years old and Goldie now pushing 9. The years fly by and us humans get a little bit older every year, but when I look at our "puppies" they get older quicker but they stay happy for longer.
  20. Bad pic at the office. OT, How do you post pics bigger than 2mb?
  21. Early Christmas for my 3 and a half year old, nice looking little bike the Muna 14".
