I raced 125cc Max karts for a few years. If you want to race and compete you'll need a new set of tyres for every second race meeting at R1800 per set back then in about 2008, if you don't it's very difficult to keep up to karts with new rubber. That's besides entry fees and any other spares needed. Cycling is expensive but you can cycle for free, you can't kart for free. Sorry, totally off topic.

The Sola 1 might have better components than the 960 due to it being 1. Are they both brand new? What year model?

I'm very new to Zwifting so tried with my phone first but got an overheating message and it closed Zwift. On the laptop it picked up the HR straight away but needed ant+ for speed/cadence. I must add my speed/cadence is the old magnetic style devices.

In my case both are required to run Zwift on a dumb trainer idt, ant+ for speed/cadence and bluetooth for the HR, at least that is what I think is happening.

Now I know how lucky I got today, got 1 2nd hand for R150 from someone close by.

Friend of mine has XT 4 pot on the tandem and he had no problems going down Bergplaas on TransB last year so they should be good for you.

Tuesday, Cairnbrogie Farm trails Plett, had a lekker ride but it felt strange somehow.

Going to Plett this weekend, will be riding Kurland, Cairnbrogie and Harkerville solo.

Use the DT Swiss twin lockout a lot, it's 3 position(ODL) and makes quite a difference for me but with a dropper lever also my bars are quite cluttered, luckily I run 1 x gearing.

I chuckled at the warning sign at the coffee shop, "You are not Greg Minnaar" etc etc I don't think even the GOAT Mr GM would ride that thing.

Can vouch for the Lyne, it's much better than the Giant, my Giant has seized up now and will cost about R800 for a new cartridge, it's also the 2nd time it has seized.
