  1. Where can we find the batch starting times, as it is not printed on the number? Thanks
  2. Which device do you use as a head unit, i.e. notebook etc? Also, is eg your watch / phone picking up Power (via the app) etc from the Kickr? (OK - after reading again I saw you mentioned the app) (Coincidentally I suddenly had kind of the same issue with my Snap2 on Saturday, and only when I moved the NB to almost next to the Snap I could get Power etc)
  3. Interesting Chris! Yeah, so much info / contradictions everywhere. I have even seen physiotherapists disagreeing with each other on this 🤷‍♂️
  4. I thought (static) stretching might actually be counter-productive? In my case (also >>50) a Functional Fitness training regime changed my general 'muscle health' for the better, maybe consider something like that? (Do read the ref's in the article above as well.)
  5. Quite impossible to clean out, especially with the bead rubbish. Never again - I agree,
  6. Rouvy for me - as three persons in one's household can be linked to the same account on its Family Membership plan.
  7. It's like a virtual event, but you have to drive to it...
  8. Very happy with my Varia as well! On this topic - another way to analyse your Varia rides: https://www.mybiketraffic.com/
  9. Some Schwalbe 2-4-1 tyre deals here: https://www.buycycle.co.za/product-category/shop-by-brand/q-s/schwalbe/ (2 valves also included on some) https://www.schwalbetyres.co.za/mtb/
  10. To clean up sticky glue - not sure re use on carbon but works very well to remove e.g. Gorilla tape remnants from alu rims. Re two layers - Stans recommendation is two layers for road tubeless setups. (Depending on pressure)
  11. I bought my Brooks from Cycle Touring - excellent service! Maybe check with CT re stock?
  12. This is how I rigged up my daughter's 27.5 MTB bike, with a Michelin slick (PS : there are dedicated trainer tires available as well)

  16. Thanks for the info! Planning to ride it during the upcoming long weekend.
  17. I believe the Clarens - Fouriesburg road had major damage with the recent rain. Any updates on the condition of this as well as the Fouriesburg - BHM road perhaps? Thanks
  18. Happy with my Nitecore BR35
  19. E-bikes, welcome at all races - just don't include them in any results. (If any e-biker gets upset about this I might question your motives for 'competing'.) If an e-bike rider masquerades as a non-assisted rider, ban them.
  20. Kakiebos Cycle Jersey - R670.
  21. Thanks, I guess they copied the firmware directly to the FS and not via Express. One of the many reasons I prefer Garmin - the accessible file system. Not sure if you are aware of this eg? (For the F6 series)
  22. Was the file system (/GARMIN) accessible via USB when the unit was bricked?
  23. Anybody read Guns & Needles written by Clinton van der Berg re doping in SA sport?
