  1. Thanks Shaper. Now says July 10, 2014 , 11:11 am Processed Through Sort Facility ISC SAN FRANCISCO (USPS) Eish very slow and quite frustrating! Was supposed to go via FedEx express which is a 3-5 day service supposedly (which I paid a lot for!) but now I see it's gone via USPS. Bit miffed and will need to sort this with the seller.
  2. I have the previous model but the Nao is tops IMO http://www.petzl.com/us/outdoor/headlamps/performance-series-headlamps/performance-series-headlamps-0/nao
  3. For those that have dealt with USPS, what does "Depart USPS sort facility" mean? I take it this is their hub for packages and goes to the airport from there and then to ORT here? This was 2 days ago though, with other tracking I've usually had a notification as it leaves the country and lands here. Possibly it's left there but will only show up again once scanned here. Or maybe the tracking is delayed? Or should I try see if it's here and I can get a local tracking number from EMS? This is a priority mail international parcel from Boseman, Montana and from my understanding should be trackable all the way so there should be more tracing info coming. Thanks, WW.
  4. Great we're doing 30k there on the 20th. Do you have a Garmin file perhaps for me? How's the water availability? Also doing Groenkloof Sunday and maybe a social run Saturday if you're keen.
  5. None of that terrain out here really. But Pofadder at Van Gaalen's is an option. Then Heia ranch, Hakahana, Groenkloof, Hedianga farm, Hennops are all options.
  6. Bit of a sore throat/sinus from Saturday am. Less of a head cold today so should clear up quick I hope.
  7. Thanks Matt So only the MTB routes are ready for the opening with trail running routes to be added later on as I understand?
  8. Best price was the blue ones at Dischem for R199 when I got one a year or two ago. Check on the top of the shelving near the supplements or ask the guys. Branded ones are expensive. The Grid from Triggerpoint is a great one if spending more. Also try the ProTech Athletics sticks you'll find at the rugby gear at Sportsmans. Great instruction manual with them. NB is to learn how to use the roller!!! You put weight on it to put pressure on an area, NOT roll it like a koekroller verstaan
  9. Lekker! Keen on a run there! Are the routes then separate for the mtb and running as I understand?
  10. My 2c is depends on your market I would say - are the current clients big on coffee? Maybe there aren't any proper coffee places in the area? Then they will come! But if not I would say rather get a bean/blend that works for you and people like (that you can get consistently from a supplier of the same quality) and focus on perfecting that so people know they get a good cup there each time. Otherwise it's perfecting the ground, temp etc. each time with a new coffee that may not be ideal.
  11. My 2c with being down a similar passion project path that we've gotten gatvol of and abandoned. - You must be REALLY passionate about or it will become a job/drag/mission very quickly and as has been said you'll stop working on the site. - Getting buy-inn from the industry is NB so they provide constant, up to date info and you don't have to go look for it and people know it's correct so they come to your site and no double checking is needed as has been said. Also get brands to feature so they can advertise etc. This ties-inn with my next point. - Having a monitisation strategy is NB! Don't leave this for later or it will lead to point 1. You need buy in from cycling brands etc. to advertise so you can atleast cover the hosting costs etc., which will start adding up very quickly if the site works and is popular. Otherwise you get to a point where you've got it all in place but the passion is now costing you money as it did us, which quickly turns things sour. Hope this helps.
  12. Hou vas, didn't Paulissen also dope at some stage? Or was it his previous epic partner?
  13. Got Maxxis Welter weights from CRC a few years back, try them.
  14. I'll give the fresh stuff a bash, just been using UHT milk from Woolies etc. Thing is I can't stomach drinking milk on its own so difficult to judge for me.
  15. Some good advice, but don't neglect the feet, hands, ears etc. Good windproof gloves, light windproof booties, a buff or a fleece ear wrap of thin beanie are also key to being comfy. All depends on temp and what you are comfy riding in. Also mtb more stop/start and slower so warmer than road. zip-off sleeve jackets are versatile and save bucks. I like a wicking base layer sleeveless, jersey, arm warmers, gilet, knee warmers as a good inbetween kit. Also easy to add to or take off.
  16. Idjits. They wanted a bribe from me last weekend at the Pumulani toll plaza and then tried for something to drink when I didn't bite. Rather pay my fine thanks as my one car headlight wasn't working so I was in the wrong. Fine is less than the BS amount he mentioned in any case thinking he'll get some cash out of me.
  17. Gerald is this an official Hub comp or just by Hubbers for Hubbers?
  18. And a friend/family member just so happens to own a driving school/fleet management company/car dealership I would imagine?
  19. They seem to be busy with a pump track at Groenies opposite the bathrooms and next to the play area, looks like fun! Also new signage at the bike start and more jungle gyms for the kids as well as seating and a "coffee shop" at the kiosk with pancakes etc. Foot trails also have distance markers now, though I wish they would add a few more trails for hiking and running.
  20. Ja nee that demo you gave me really hit that home. SB isn't really an option if you want a milk drink.
  21. Waiters must love you I have Rooibos tea or I say if it's sheet and you say it's good I'm sending it back. And I have, and received better coffee the 2nd time. Some places have a "barista" but sommer anyone makes the coffee most of the time and you get worse coffee then.
  22. Drinking french press coffee and I must say one does get spoiled with the coffee from an espresso machine
  23. Thanks V12 will check it out, maybe I need to take it in. Just a bit frustrating as I went all the way there to get the seal, had I known I would have taken the machine as well. Cadence no the light isn't on thanks.
