  1. Nice! That white one really works for me. And on the other end of the scale, the BoB scheme rocks too!
  2. Google is your friend: www.chumaracing.com also get hold of ngala24
  3. Are bib shorts washing instructions different to 'normal' shorts?
  4. If you have a full groupset and wheels have a look at the following frames: Niner Jet 9 RDO (carbon) Santa Cruz Tallboy (carbon or Alu) Pivot Mach 429 (alu) Consider their geometry and perhaps get measured up before you go shopping and get the frame that suits you best rather than shop by brand.
  5. That is why everyone is so concerned about seeding!
  6. It's a bit like bar ends on risers... Just kidding! If it works for you (convenience and financially) then stick with it. Switching to road shoes won't make you faster. But the road pedal & shoe marketing companies will tell you all about power transfer due to lower stack heights and larger contact areas and all that.
  7. That FSA stem looks awesome. But generally carbon stems are not always lighter than their alu brothers...
  8. About R45k? And more importantly, what does it weigh? 9.5kg?
  9. Speaking of friction, is it true that the friction from the seals to the bearing is sometimes more than the friction from the bearing itself? You sometimes see the pro mechanics remove the seals and apply minimal lubrication for single use applications like make or break time trials etc.
  10. You know those would be fake then? Girls dont wear bib shorts and J Lo wouldnt ride a bike long enough to get sweaty... Liz Hatch? Now that's another story!
  11. It seems like now is a good time to buy some Mavic Cro29max's. There are suddenly several for sale here.

  14. They are probably reading this and having a good chuckle. Or seeing some a few ways of how not to do things...
  15. Its an interesting idea and would love to know more details. There are several fantastic things about CRC. One of them is the amazing range of products and brands that they have. I dont think it will be possible for CWC to do the same though. So I see it as a CRC lite.
  16. What an incredible run! (But those commentators need to be careful they don't burst a blood vessel or something!)
  17. I used an ordinary Ir adaptor on my old computer, but it wouldn't work on Windows 7. It's not a Polar specific thing, but Polar did have the product and it was Windows 7 compliant. I have run into other hassles with the Pro Trainer software that I couldnt be bothered to sort out. I cant do updates etc.
  18. When I got my new lap top last year, none of the computer shops could guarantee that the USB thingies would work properly on Windows 7, so I ended up getting the Polar USB one for R500.00 odd (that stung!) I imagine that if you got a Windows 7 compliant USB adaptor/dongle you should be OK.
  19. Specialized Venge - Project Black Di2 from WeightWeenies
  20. Compare their geometry and pick the one that suits you best. If you are not sure, get measured up or have a proper bike fit done. Correct fit should out rank better components.
  21. I need a new unnerpant. My one eier keep popping out...
  22. SL4? How about some out of the box pics?
  23. See FTECH details here Their sizing is on the small size as well
