    Help!

Have you tried Cliff or Mule bars? They arent cheap though... Or perhaps make your own ? There was a thread about that not too long ago.
  4. Gotta be careful of carpal tunnel syndrome...
  5. Beautiful morning! I wish I had some money with me so that I could stop for a coffee @ the guy just before Bakoven.
  6. Isn't that what most bike brands are? Taiwanese, I mean. Not Raleigh...
  7. + 1 What bars are those?
  8. Yupp! I highly rate them - I have always had a good experience there.
  9. It was not a great day for a ride. I came in to Town from Claremont via Hout Bay. Dark, wet, cold & lonely. Coffee in the shower was never so awesome.
  10. Its like Groundhog Day! https://www.bikehub.co.za/index.php?app=hubmarket&do=view_item&item_id=12192

  12. 'like new DONE 900Km' A mountain bike that has done 900km is not like new. For example, I wouldn't call a bike that has just done the Cape Epic, 'Like New'
  13. Are you talking about this UPGRADED Giant XTC ? I am so glad people are making comments. I have been dying to rip into this oke.
  14. Sorry to hijack your thread: I have a mate who has a Trail entry and would REALLY love to do the Race instead.
  15. This carbon Volcan 29'er is not to be scoffed at from Buycycle :
  16. Willie Engelbrech was advertising the Scott Scale Pro (carbon) frame for R17k
  17. I need to go and pay them a visit. The few pics I saw on Tweeter and the Book of Face looked pretty amazing. It looked a bit like Eurobike with all the displays and stuff. I wonder how close it is to being SA's biggest bike shop (in square meters) ?
  18. First give away of a Chinarello Dogma is the round seat post...
  19. Its a proper Pinna. First give away of a Chinarello is the round seat post. The Pinas have the 'aero' shaped one.

  23. That's pretty good going then! The ones I have seen are around R23k... The 2012 bikes and frames will arriving in the not too distant future, so maybe hold out for one of them? (I dont know which frames we will get here though...)
  24. There is a R10k difference between the frames. I am not sure what the difference in weight is. The ISP frame does look a LOT nicer. I have the TCR Advanced frame and really like it. I lust after the SL version, but dont think its worth R10k extra.
  25. Why would you buy a new bike? Is there anything wrong with your current bike? Before dual suspension bikes and 29'ers everyone rode 26" bikes. Some with front suspension and some without. Two (crazy) guys did the Epic a while ago on single speed fully rigid bikes. You dont need the latest and greatest bike for the Epic. It may make some parts slightly easier, but you still have to pedal whatever bike you have...
