  1. It was fast heading towards pay only anyway. Looking at the countries listed below, most of the major viewing markets were already sold to other TV networks:
  2. No deny Red Bull has done amazing things. My one gripe was that the main and peripheral content had a massive bias towards their sponsored athletes. So did the commentators. How often did we hear about every minor detail about Emily in 30th position with no mention of anyone else around her? It's a fair trade-off but in terms of impartial and more inclusive coverage, there is room for improvement. It's going to interesting. Red Bull are likely running it all at a massive loses in the name of content marketing for Red Bull TV. Few companies have the appetite for this and we were lucky to have them but it was never going to last forever. Now a company who looks to monetise the product is coming in. Be it advertising, subscription fees. There will be changes. But if they get it right (massive IF), potentially it could up the professionalism of the sport. Anyone know how a similar deal has gone for track racing?
  3. The rules for CTCT: https://www.capetowncycletour.com/race-entry-terms-and-conditions/ "The fastest time that a cyclist, using an e-bike, may complete the event is 3hr 50min. Any e-bike cyclists recording a time of less than 3hr 50min will be disqualified." Don't worry, your hard earned sub-3 isn't at risk. Your example of bike switches. Cheating is cheating, regardless of ebikes. Report their race numbers to the organisers.
  4. Thanks for confirming. I'm hoping to have a fix out early next week.
  5. Thanks for the update. Just to clarify, you're try to delete the expired adverts?
  6. @Razor1972 A possible fix was deployed this morning. Please can you try again and let me know if you still experience this problem. Thanks.
  7. Thanks! I'll get the team to look at it in the morning.
  8. The Classifieds: https://bikehub.co.za/classifieds/c/jerseys
  9. Thanks for letting us know. A few others have also been experiencing the same problem. Is it a currently active advert or one that you have previously Marked as Sold? Where do you come unstuck? After the delete options box pops up or do not even see the box? (Example below). Or do you select a specific option and then click "Confirm" and nothing happens? Sorry, lots of questions.
  10. Yesterday the number was 0815518454
  11. Hi Rallye Thanks for reporting this. We received an identical report about this guy yesterday. Sending an "Uber" for collection. The offending account was been banned yesterday. I've just banned the one that contacted you today.
  12. Hold your horses... Poor little Events Bot 🤖 is only just beginning on the early April events. There is always this option if you're looking for some work: https://bikehub.co.za/events/create
  13. Toon Aerts 😔 https://www.cyclingnews.com/news/toon-aerts-asserts-innocence-after-banned-drug-found-in-doping-test/
  14. On Android. When you're viewing a listing page (category or search). Do you see the Filter button in the button left corner? It should bring out all the same options that are available on desktop.
  15. Thanks. Still very much a work in progress. Especially with populating all the events. I'm hoping that the event organisers will pick it up and post their events. Good to know that the quick date links are handy but the date range is also fully customisable.
  16. I'm slowly making my way through the next few months of events. There might be a bit of forum spamming but it'll settle down in the next few days. We'll let some event organisers know that the calendar is up and running so they can start listing their events. But feel free to help me out by listing your favourite events 🙏
  17. Was this dig intentional? 10/10 if so 😆
  18. Sorry to hear about this, MariéK. You can email this company below. They are responsible for the registration the website address. Registrar: 1-Grid Registrar Abuse Contact Email: abuse@1-grid.com Also contact the Internet Service Providers' Association (ISPA) to take-down the website here: https://ispa.org.za/tdn/. A Bike Hubber @Quagga had success with this method recently. You can read about that similar scam here.
  19. This is a worrying case. The address, along with a number of other businesses, is the offices for a law firm. It appears that the director of this firm is a real person. I've checked with someone who has worked with her. Her surname is used on the website you are concerned about. The company registration listed on the website is linked to the same person. I can find no evidence that this person is involved with Online Cycle Store or any of the other businesses that share these details online. It is likely a case of identity theft being used as a cover. The phone number on the website is found all over the internet linked to different (shady) businesses. Including a medical supplies company which appears to use a similar website design.
  20. Hi Shaun There will no shortage of entries becoming available in the Classifieds: https://bikehub.co.za/classifieds/c/event-entries Just keep the substitution requirements in mind.
  21. Heads up for those yet to enter:
  22. Fun fact: He already did 😆
  23. Just chatted to the media team at the event about live coverage. Twitter will have live updates. There are challenges in following the riders and reception but they will have updates up when possible. And dot watching here: https://maps.findmespot.com/s/FSB0
  24. There is general consensus that it is a scam. That is enough for me to make an attempt to remove any ambiguity should someone come looking with the same question. I'll deal with the defamation suit when it comes.
  25. The name came to mind. In hindsight, I do feel bad throwing him under the bus.
