Im sorry but crime is crime. If they are swamped get more officers, if they see that bicycle hijackings are happening more and more then form a task force to deal with it. Stamp it out while it is still small. Or pretty soon crimanals are going to see that the police are lax in taking action we going to be even mopre of a target.
Normal police have no chance on a mountain. Even though they try they not equipped for it.I agree send the army out. Better yet , Redeploy 32 bat and tell them to clean the mountain . Will be done in a blink of a eye
RIP dude. Today some "Roadies" were riding on the new bus lane around the back of Paarden Island. the driver had to lay on his hooter for them to move out the way. Not clever guys.
I ride them often the only hassle part is from laggon beach to woodbridge island Before and after that they long and nice with no interuptions. Saw a few riders today on the road.

im also looking at insurance for me MTB. Thx for the link to the Garrun one but a question. it says that your bike is covered while racing/training rides but then says not covered for dents. Is that a small dent as in a stone dent or a large dent which causes the frame to be weakend?
