  1. If the back- and upsweep or bar roll works for the rider I don’t see why not. Saving weight is always a plus.
  2. Those are the same stats of teams playing against the NZ teams (ABs, Crusaders etc). Holding onto the ball means nothing if you can't function under pressure and create opportunities.
  3. Not sure if they stock the pipes, just ordered online. Got the pipes from Agrimark. Any irrigation supplier will be able to sort you out.
  4. Did we really ever improve? We only won against a tired English team coming off a losing streak, only to lose the last game. Rassie is not the messiah and we’re not going to win against the All blacks. Soon if ever. We’re ****, have been **** for years and it’s time we accept that we’re not as good as we’d like to think we are. we’re nowhere close to world no.1s.
  5. R369 for the fixtures, and the pipes were separate, about R50/m. You can make up your own lengths. I figure 3/4" pipe are good for up to 2m lengths. https://www.toolcraft.co.za/products/pony-clamp-3-4-pipe-the-original
  6. Got some pipe clamps this week from Toolcraft. I recall there were someone looking for them a while ago. These are great value and better than similar priced sash clamps. Record sash clamps have just become unaffordable.
  7. Indeed, just got flash backs now from some 10 years ago. Looked at all sorts of glass bead fillers to reduce volume and cost.
  8. Not in this way, as I'm not a fan. But epoxies are straight forward and if you speak to AMT composites, they should be able to sort you out.. https://www.amtcomposites.co.za/?gclid=Cj0KCQjwk_TbBRDsARIsAALJSObxlwJ0e0RFHFDhNF02A9_-1eOnf16AKVyZWZI7jRllfEpi5X7sBewaAkU3EALw_wcB
  9. Still better than a heavy, expensive gear box that can't down-shift under load.
  10. How long did shipping take? I'm also considering bringing in some rims.
  11. Stupid clevis design that extends the shock length and increases side loads.
  12. Should be slow AF and with outdated technology even before it’s released. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  13. Bicycle lying there looking like he hit his shins.
  14. Nice, but jirre, that music is hondkak.
  15. Start with safe search on???? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  16. Same with those ugly ass Evil bikes for me, with the head tube that looks like saddlebags fat.
  17. Yoh, there's a whole lot of ugly going on in the rear half of that bike.
  18. Dog eating cleat in 3, 2...
  19. Had a somewhat similar incident with some #enduro bros once. They were resting at the top of the climb before the trail entry. I came up on my epic. We exchanged friendly greetings, and one said we'll see you at the bottom. I just retorted; "I'm not going to wait longer than 3 min at the bottom for you guys." Never saw them again though.
  20. The way the veneer is cut won't give you the same grain effect as using planks would.
  21. Wood is unfortunately crazy expensive. Your best option then would be to find some old pallets (untreated), If you want that reclaimed look, leave them outside exposed to the elements. Cedar wood makes for nice cladding, but will cost you quite a bit. You can have the planks deep cut into thinner pieces to stretch your material. You don't need 25mm planks for wall cladding.
  22. There are numerous cladding option available; https://www.italtile.co.za/decorative-tiles/cladding-category.html?material=wood If you go DIY, french cleat should do well. If you're planning to make up panels, hot glue and a couple of screws on a piece of hardboard should suffice. Personally, I'll leave it untreated. If you're set on treating it, then some oil product, like linseed or danish oil usually has to lowest sheen/reflection of light properties.
  23. Well if you're running semi-slicks for less rolling resistance, then yes, because it defeats the whole purpose of having side knobs on the contact patch.
