I think I must check if you got into my weed stash! I have been restricted to one cup of Decaf coffee per day by the dietician. Thought it was a joke, but sadly not. Just hope that it is a temp solution till I am healed up a bit. I know caffeine is a diarrhetic but surely decaf does not have that effect.

That is one of the worst things that can happen. I blew a 900w PSU not so long ago. Now it is not the problem blowing a PSU, it is to find a suitable PSU again. It was a pain in the butt to find a new PSU, and even though I have a new 650watt PSU now, I am not 100% happy with it. I am still shopping for a new PSU, but looking at the 80 Gold PSU’s and modular. I hate all the cables in my rig. That is why I run a NVMe to get rid of one cable in my case.I am also waiting for new white sleeved cables. I hate cables and unsightly things in my PC Case

They did a KRAS Mutation and Genetic test, but that was all.I will discuss this with the new oncologist (I am leaving Dr Bouwer at Wilgers because the cancer spread like a wild fire and he took 0 action but waste money with an MRI) when I see him next month. I am going home today. Till have a high infection number, but I need to sleep and to het out of the hospital. The staff became NAFI last night and caused a world of crap for themselves after they closed our room doors, disconnected the drip line from my CVP and left it like that. I was in a world of pain and the nurse did not even ask if I needed anything for pain. At 23h30 a nurse came to switch of the lights (she does not even work for the hospital but is a session worker) and she helped with meds, gave me my other meds and saw that the CVP line ran again. I still have to go see the management as I already notified them that the staff had a weird attitude last night.

Seems like another change of plans. No xray. Infection numbers are still high. But I think I am going to ask the doctor to send me home to recover at home and to get back to work. I have not slept for the past 3 evenings. I can’t muck about waiting and waiting and waiting and nothing is happening. Doc also want’s me to consume 1 pack of Marie Biscuits per day to help my tummy to settle. Have to share this (kinda funny) but went to the bathroom at 02h00. Now I have not farted for a very long time as that ability was kinda removed. So I had the pleasure of waking a ward up at 02h00 this morning with one of the most thunderous farts I have ever let rip. I even made one lady cry (she has a mental problem and the blast was to much for her) when I left the bathroom three nurses came to check up on me to make sure I was okay.

Doctor swung by this AM. Infection still in the hundreds So I can’t go home due to covid where I will have to wait 24 hours at least before I can back to hospital. He wants to do an xray tomorrow to check the flow if my insides because something feels off to him. So you drink some marker and they check where it lingers where it should not. Just hope I do not need another enema again

hi Red RobinNot so well. Due to the none use of my arse I have to wear nappies at the moment. my inflammation number is very very high. The surgeon placed me on a normal diet, and that was a huge no-no. My innards are not able to process or digest yet. My colon has no water absorption capabilities yet. So I can’t keep anything down or in me. Spoke to the dietician this afternoon and she is working out a new diet plan for me. It still first pretty good, like when you try to sleep, and the constant loo visits are catching me. They allowed my wife to visit me today as I fell into severe depression and I am thinking that I made the wrong choice on the reversal. So at least I got to see my pillar, even if it was for a short time.

Ran into a problem two nights back. I had to use Netflix with a VPN. The hospital's firewall blocked access to nit, and Telkom mobile stopped my contract and stole some 20GB’s of my data that I wanted to use to stream movies or a TV series. So not I am stuck without Netflix. At least I can watch a bit of DSTV and the TdF on the small screen TV mounted far far away from me

that is correct Escapee.Problem is that the CoT screwed the rules on visitors. My wife can visit me for 15 minutes today. And that is it. The next time I will see her will be the day I am discharged unless that can get it into the thick skulls of the managers at CoT to change the visitors hours from 11h00 to 19h00 and not from 11h00 to 17h00. But that battle is being taken on today.

Good morning Hub Land! First off, thanks for all the support i have received form my diagnosis. The operation was a rather large operation. I have tried composing a message, but have not been able to finish a message. The leep monster is lurking in every tap of the screen. The surgeon removed a fair bit of colon again (40-50cm’s) and another 40cm’s of my small intestines. Doctor spoke to me yesterday, but this far sounds like the whole procedure went well. There will be a few implications for me, but it is better than the alternatives. I have walked around quite a bit yesterday. Being stuck in bed sucks big time. Will update with any news that I receive 09h30: got my nose tube removed and asked them to stop the morphine. My oxygen stats are great so they took me off Oxygen as well now.

The doctor just came to tell me..... I am on the theatre list for reversal of the stoma for tomorrow. It is good news and I need to thank each and every hubber for your support. While Dr is doing the reversal he will check for new cancer that they picked up. Might not be cancer at all. I sure as heck can’t wait to het back on my bike again

Booked in at Kloof Hospital Pretoria. Doctor wants to do a few tests, colonoscopy and will then decide if I an viable for an operation. At least I can watch the TdF

Update. Got the report from the MRI Trust. Booked an appointment with the surgeon for Wednesday morning. When they heard the report and moisture behind the stoma they wanted to book me for today. But today is not the best day... and I don’t want to leave the guys at work with my work (they can’t do it anyway, so there is no hand over) So will update as soon as I know what the Surgeon plans for me.

Took my personal PC home yesterday after a co worker screwed around with the switch in out office and blew a port on my TimeCapsule. So I made the choice that I can’t risk my personal property to be damaged because the company has the attitude that I am in the wrong and he did nothing wrong (this happened while I was in a MRI machine hunting for a few naughty cells). So might use it for a bit of gaming at home. Running an AMD Ryzen 5 1600 with 32 GB of RAM and a GTX1070 ( used the PC for photoshop and for day to day work as I have not received a company computer since starting there in February as a contractor and June full time) Wonder how farm simulator will work on my PC. Just have to remember to transfer my mods...

News were not good. New growth detected at the site of my colostomy. There is a huge amount of fluid at the ileostomy. It explains why I am having problems with it. The oncologist said we might have to wait a month, redo the blood-works as I have inflammation at the stoma and could screw the numbers. So I am not in a good place at the moment.

ordered mine on a one day only sale. Just wish I can use it more as I had to cut back on my coffee intake (or rather milk intake)

Just saw the oncologist. Sent for an MRI. Sitting waiting for Momentum to give authorization for the scan.... then it is me and the nemesis. My blood work was not very good so a bit of a concern. Dr wants to find the cancer, as he is a little worried about my liver.

How on this earth do you think someone must see you at 05H50 in the morning in pitch black darkness, with no street lights and you "running" on the wrong side of the road?
