  1. had to share a ward where one gent was busy with his Pico Prep and I had 4 flute Enemas in me. At a point, I was in another ward using the bathroom there. And that was a dance that the nurses had to manage. If you have a 4-bed ward at least have two toilets in the ward... But it is better than Steve Biko Hospital where wards of 6 - 8 people have to share 4 toilets! And here we are talking about 4 wards, not people sharing a very limited number of toilets. So it is not weird for patients to soil the floors on their way to the bathroom or while waiting for a bathroom... That said if the toilet was not used as a storeroom
  2. Was discharged last night. My whiteblood cell count came down from 22000 to 8000. The range tops at 9000. So 22000 was very high. The doctor would have kept me there if it was higher. Was great to fall asleep in my own bed without a fat guy attempting to break the noise barrier with his snoring and an attempt to what he thought singing should be. Yeah he thought it was a great idea to sing along with his music (the nurse said he was not sick enough if he could sing). He also did not respect the fact that other people needed to use the bathroom. He would knock and then keep banging the door. I told him to fudge off on Friday morning while I was using the bathroom. And almost broke his hand yesterday afternoon when he kept on shaking the door and I lost it on my way out of the bathroom.
  3. That is correct. It is the first time in a very long time that food stayed in me for longer than two hours... feels weird not to poo out everything that I eat within an hour
  4. Who knew that an overweight person could be diagnosed with malnutrition? Well... That is me. I am unable to absorb nutrition at this stage. The speed at what food passes makes it impossible to get any worthwhile nutrition from the food I eat. So have been given a few additives to consume to make sure that I do not die. That explains the lightheadedness and why I started having all kinds of trouble. And healing all of a sudden started slowing down. The place where I had a drain stopped healing. And it might be the site of the infection. But I am feeling better, just bored out of my skull. I hate being in the hospital!
  5. Needed something brain dead to watch, so decided to watch a cartoon of all things. So I decided to watch Final Space (https://m.imdb.com/title/tt6317068/) Turned out like BoJack Horseman. I was hit a few times with tears and the feels. Amazingly, they can pull out a lot of emotions buried deep inside in a cartoon/animation these days. Turned out to be a program that I enjoyed. Something different from the likes of the Simpsons, Family Guy and American Dad. Turned out to be a lot more than the brain dead program I was looking for...
  6. Most of the bloodwork and tests came back. It is not Covid. Not a blood clot and infection numbers are low... But my white blood cell count came in at 22000 (not sure of the range they work on, but the surgeon was not too happy about the number being so high) So something is not right, but they do not know what the cause could be. I went for a barium x-ray today. Started at 09h00 and ended at around 12h00. They wanted to establish how long it took for the food to travel from my stomach to the outlet. When I told the radiologist that I passed the first barium she was caught off guard. I was about 50 minutes faster than they expected.
  7. Being admitted to hospital. Woke up with chest pains and severe abdominal pain at 02h00. Went to the office and it got worst. Called the doctor and went to see him. It might be fluid on my lungs but will do a few tests. So have yet another covid test to do as they are afraid that I might have covid as well. The doctor does not want me to leave the hospital today because I could get better or I could take a turn for the worst.

    Who remembers?

My Scott came out with a pain job and not a paint job. What idiot thought Matt was a great colour for cycles? Must be some marketing idiot who has seen a bike on a drawing once.
  9. Started watching See https://m.imdb.com/title/tt7949218/ So far a new concept. But playing on the post-apocalyptic is a bit worn out
  10. Was a epic race. Remember watching the race a few years ago. But this one sort of iterated me. Was more a platform for your views and what you want, and not so much of the race for some.
  11. It is called Oncolab. https://eurolab.co.za/innovation-technology/oncolab/ Same guys making some of my meds (Pecaset) that I used
  12. I and the SO talked about it last night. We will have the tests doen. According to the Oncologist, this is a new lab that opened in Midrand. They can now do all the tests here in SA. I hope that I might qualify for a trail. Not only because of the lower cost but also for being able to assist in a product that might save other cancer warriors.
  13. Kiwi and Goofy. Goofy right is our new baby. He is about 5 weeks old. Kiwi has been with us for about a year. Sunday was the first time she was outside the cage. She proved to be a little sweetheart and not a little dragon as we thought
  14. Thanks MuttleyThe link I think is on the first page. But I think we can wait for Momentum. The guys and gils of BikeHub has been a tremendous help and they saved my life numerous times with their donations
  15. I am utterly devastated. Received a call from the oncologist that I am not a candidate for the immunotherapy. He wants to do a genetic panel on my tumors to see if they will react to anything. Only problem... R20000 for the test. So now it is a hope and a prayer that Momentum will pay for the test
  16. I stopped at episode one. Perfectly spindled FUDGE!

  18. We watched a wholesome series. All Creatures Great and Small https://m.imdb.com/title/tt10590066/ https://youtu.be/MZzFjeQFpro This edged past Doc Martin for me as my favorite British story
  19. Are we over complicating the art of Coffee? https://www.facebook.com/barista.dritan.alsela/videos/1773390066158168/?vh=e&extid=0 If you can’t see the video, it is by Barista Dritan Alsela on how to make cappuccino at home So easy and now high pressure steam, not a investment of R25000 just pain simple and easy. And finished of with some art as well...
  20. My cousin just sent me these images for the Sun City Challenge tomorrow So I am in tears...

rather get the piggy bank out and save a bit for the better products.Maybe check Carbonite for 2nd hand fans. At this stage I am thinking of getting rid of the Gamdias fans to go with normal non RGB fans.

The gamdias came with a remote to control the RGB. There are a bunch of effects you can choose.I would NOT recommend them at all though! I have a MSI with Mystic Light effects, and the controller is not compatible with MB even though they said that it supports the board. The case , mouse and RAM I can adjust via software, but not the Gamdias Fans. The MB does not control their speed either. You have to do that via the remote. And it is a huge pain in my arse. My PC ran at 100CPU utilization for three weeks, and the fans was spinning at the lowest setting (I was not at work and could not change it) I am looking for fans that supports my motherboard. I have the fans on white most of the time or off if I work next to it. Just switch it on when clients come by to see the AMD fan boy [emoji2957]

  25. Had a consult with the new oncologist today. He is going to request a test of the immunotherapy that he wants to start me on. So we will know if cancer will react to the therapy before we start with it. He has a plan B in place if it does not work. At least the doctor said that if the medical aid does not cover the therapy there are alternative options. So it is not like the other oncologist that ruined our finances. One thing is that the doctor thinks of his patients. He was worried about my pain levels (I am still very tender where the surgery took place) and said I was not going to get a gold star for living in pain. Will know next week what the results of the new therapy was, and will then know the path forward.
