Ok, Tyre choice for this race? I need to replace my rear tyre thanks to a sidewall tear, so I might aswell get the right/ more appropriate tyre sorted.

I'd get that in writing. Most policies cover goods (personal items usually carried on you) under the unspecified section of All Risks, but if you read further in teh Terms and Conditions it usually stipulates that Bicycles, Prescription specs, cell phones, etc must be specified in order to be covered. Just make sure, you don't want a nasty surprise.

From the N14, take the Muldersdrift offramp. Turn left and pass under the highway. Then turn right and park at any of the spots, Cradlestone, Avianto, Something Country. I think you can also park at the lionpark?

Great race, but man that was a tough day out! Thanks to the rider who gave me a tube when I punctured on that last cement climb about 13km from the end. And to the two 40 km riders who also helped. I promise to pay it forward.

Looked like he rode NF and then drove home. Don't want to affect his whole ride, but rather just the rankings which should be corrected.

I got a third spot on the climb, but saw that the KOM went up the hill at 80kph, so I flagged the ride? Did I follow the right procedure? If I go to teh segment page now, tehr eis no leaderboard, only this message: "This segment has been flagged as hazardous"

So what happens when you flag a ride? I got a message that the ride has been flagged as dangerous (or something to that affect) when I flagged it. The KOM forgot to stop his Garmin and went up a hill at 80kph.

It's heart rate based, so during the ride you should try and stay in zone 2 & 3. If you go onto the website there was a link to identify the zones according to your heart rate.

In the Satellite Classic one of the marshals made a guy take of his number for jumping ahead. Probably used it to dq his time afterwards.

Is parking still a mission? Thought about taking the Gautrain from Rosebank and miss the driving around for parking

Do you think they will also sabotage the mtb trails with nails and stuff like they do the cycle lane in the cradle? (at least we have sealant!)
