  6. The road in and out of langbaan is very dangerous to ride on. When you are there and go out early make sure that you have front and rear lights to be seen. Ask the locals to show you the road out of langebaan towards mykonos. That road is better for cycling on.
  7. Ok been wanting to ask this question for a while, what about walking. I find running kills my body. I am just to big (not fat) I weight 118kg. What is better. half a hour run hour walk 3 hour cycle.
  8. Not sure if Diamondback brought out Titanium frames. Mostly cromoly or Aluminium.
  9. The is a difference between the two when it come's to performance. But not the difference you experienced when changing your MTB wheels to tubeless. Road Tubulars roll better that normal tyres and tubes. The problems accur when you have a puncture with Road (Tubbies) you need to have a spare tubbie with you unless you are a racing pro and have backup for a spare wheel. What I have notice in most cases that these guys and girls and decent racing wheels which cost over 10K and are super light then they go and glue cheap tubbies on them which they have also put slime into. Now that is just stupid if you are racing with tubbies you should not be putting slime into those tube that decieves the whole dam point of getting the best rolling resistance and then they weigh a ton. After experiencing with stuff it would be better to have bought the clincher wheels set with a decent set of tyres and light weight tubes. This rolls better than the cheap tubbies with slime in it. Then if you going to be competitive and racing then yes get yourself two sets of wheels one to train on (Clincher) and then one decent set to race on (Tubbies) but be prepared if you puncture that its a mission to remove and re-glue the tubbie compared to just changing the tube. Then you also get some wheels that are two way fit that means you can put a road tyre on it with out a tube to ride low pressure on your road bike. Now thats a load of bull. Who would want to ride low pressure on there road wheels. That was designed for the mountainbikers to stop snake bites when you have less than 2Barr in the wheel. So good luck and I am sure that you are going to be getting loads of answers so you need to decide.

  19. Let me just rephrase that, not that I am saying half the okes on the hub deal with stolen goods. Thats not true. What I mean is that most of us love buying and then selling things again.
  20. Recon more than half the okes on the Hub need a required register
  21. hectic post dude,
  22. You dont need to spend 15K, thats not needed. Ok you want one set of wheels that are awesome and that are going to be strong enough for you. Truse me I have tested many sets of wheels. My weight is 118kg, not fat. but big and strong. Myself I am a campag fan and would suggest going with shamals, but seeing that you are going to be fitting Shimano Dura Ace on the bike.... No weight limit and are great for training and racing. These are @ CWC R12 000.00 http://www.cwcycles.co.za/sites/default/files/imagecache/product/7850_dura_ace_wheels.jpg
  23. Do yourself a favour and get yourself two sets of wheels, one set for training and one set for racing. Its worth it.
  24. The cheaper the better, you should be replacing your MTB chain every 1000-1500km MAX, this will insure that your cassette and chainrings last much longer.
