  1. Thats just my point, tubless was designed to run at a low pressure so you dont get pinched tubes. So if you running at a high pressure you dont need tubeless. You can use a lighter tyre and tube combo and have a better ride that using a tubeless setup at a high pressure.
  2. As long as you use tubes with those NON-UST tyres on your UST rims you should not have a problem. Most Pro's or at leat on the Euporean circuit race like that much lighter than the tubless tyres. Strange that a Tyre+Tube combo is lighter than a Tubless tyre + Stans combo. UST is overated.
  3. Maybe not the wrong size but the wrong tyre for Tubeless.
  4. Give Mark a call from Marks Bicycle Workshop, 0219495219 He will do it for free for you and been around alot longer than most of the shops put together. Just phone him before you go to him I know he has the epic comingup and going to be very busy.
  5. This is so f-ing irritating, I ride past there atleast three times a week, OK mostly with a big bunch but still. what would happen if the two of them took me off the bike and I got up and kicked the living sh!t out of them. Would I be the one that would be in the most k@k or what. Wait there day will come where one of us pull a trigger on them and shoot they F-ing heads off.

  11. Must say more like jelly, there's a difference in being fit and being race fit. The guys started to quickly for me but the good thing was on the 1.4km circuit they only caught me @ 38min's so I was riding harder than the rest of the okes for that period. Not to bad for the first time back in 12 years. Now back to the drawing board and I am going to ride more races.

  15. I must say that the short hard 50km rides in the week on the MTB have done me wonders. When I come to a 120km on the weekend (road bike) it feels like a breeze. 3 x 50km (2hours) in the week and 2 x 100-120km (4hours) on the weekend.
