  1. I'm sure that there will be many opinions on this, of which mine is one, but it's probably got to be a direct drive trainer (wheel-on makes a heck of a noise), which only really gives you three options at the lower end: Wahoo Kickr Core Tacx Flux S Elite Suito Perhaps maybe one of the later model 'proper' Kickrs as well, but I'm not sure exactly when they went silent, someone else might advise. I've got an original Tacx Flux and it's fine for me. However I don't have a baby in the house so can't comment on that aspect. 2. Because, in my case, I'm recording HR only on my watch. No power, or distance, or course. And I still want that data on my Strava. I only want HR to go to Vitality as that's what they want.
  3. Which is why I run separate Garmin Connect accounts. I've got one for Vitality only, linked to my watch which I use while Zwifting (and for daily steps), and then I've got a separate account for my normal road rides, linked to Strava, which Zwift then also sends to as to not duplicate entries.

Brave man to make a call in Moto3! Strong headwind down the main straight predicted again, so I suspect that Ducati will have the same issues as the first round. Binder Lowes Vinales
  5. 3D Printing shops will also have small diameter tubes (however it will be PTFE and a bit more expensive probably).

Really good summary of events over here. It's not all doom and gloom.
  7. I've been thinking about pepper spray a lot lately. I think the one benefit of the 'overpriced' Sabre that I bought, is that it's pink. It feels less conspicuous than a bright red canister. However, I wish there was something that was green, and shaped like an inhaler.
  8. The film was excellent, which is why I asked if Stretch had watched it.
  9. Did you watch the film? I tried watching the series and I just couldn't get into it. It felt so slow.
  10. Hmm, this is the same route as the one on the website? i.e. the website doesn't have the 97km route?
  11. My concern was that the lack of bottom gear existed prior to the accidental tip-over. However, proper hangar alignment should also be confirmed.
  12. Personally, I would definitely replace the housing and cables. It's such a small expense in the grand scheme of things.
  13. Brilliant, build me one as well?
  14. This is what frustrates me though. I enjoy riding alone. Up to date I've never felt endangered at all, but it only needs one event. The fact that stories like yours are becoming more prevalent is making seriously rethink my choices.

So close! He'll get there this season, he's got a super strong team around him with the correct 'mental' people as well.
  16. That is pretty ridiculous, what is Touchdown Group saying about this event??
  17. I assume it's on that little kicker heading out past the circle? Same spot the other guy had his cellphone expropriated. Perps just jumped over the armco fence and disappeared into the bushes.
  18. Oh jeeze. Last weekend I saw a guy on Facebook who had his phone stolen from his jersey pocket at that same spot. I went up there yesterday super alert and nervous, guess that route is getting culled as well now. Sorry to hear about your incident, but thankful you've gotten away!
  19. Were you staying at Dunkeld as a guest and had your bike stolen from your room/unit?
  20. I would go that route if I trusted ACSA staff not to chuck someone else's overweight wheeliebag on top of my carbon bike...
  21. Who has a bike box in GP that I can borrow for a weekend...

  23. I also have a 4iii power meter for several years now and cannot complain at all. I've only had to change the batter once thus far.

Dude you and me both. I've wanted one for so long, but never could justify spending that sort of money on something that will sit on a shelf. And I was a poor student in 2011 too.
