  1. I am no doc and its very good that you'll be going to the folks with the little piece of paper :whistling:.

But here's my not so medical advise: I know it's seen as a girly exercise and that you may see it as a waste of valuable riding time but get into some Yoga to get those hip flexors and lower back more flexible. The more time you spend riding the tighter the hips, hamstrings etc. become. I have lower back issues and nothing works as well as a proper yoga session

    Hi Rob

I’m completely up for it. Actually I was supposed to do stretching exercises a few times per week and turned those session into core exercises!

From now on I’ll make sure to focus only on stretching

  2. First off, go and make an appointment at a gastroenterologist. Save yourself the money and go direct.

I had many similar issues and after the specialist sent me for tests it was determined that I have Crohn's disease. Don't waste time, go and find out what the issue is.

I can guarantee you that you have a certain amount of inflammation in your gut, whether that is from food, pressure on your intestines from exercise or a bit of both, go and make sure.

    My 2c

Seeing a doctor again tomorrow to do more blood test. The first results showed on some values that I might have an inflammation / infection
  3. It’s been a few months that I been having a pain in the lower abdominal area. the first times was not really painful and I would get it once in a while, then with time it started to be more frequent and more painful,at the point where it’s now constant and when I get it I just run out of energy and need to get a painkiller to be able to do normal routine things. The pain happens most of the times after lunch so I been thinking for a few weeks that the problem might have been something that I been eating and thought it might be the IBS, Therefore i been paying close attention to what I eat and been having a food diary. But it didn’t help as I’m still in pain. I’ve randomly seen a physiotherapist and after doing some testing on me he suggested that I might have my psoas inflamed. Connecting the dots I noticed that I been getting the pain mostly after the days off from the bike where I do core exercise, moreover it’s since September that I’m riding a new bike, where the saddle position is of 1 cm pushed towards compared to my other bike. In conclusion, can a different saddle position impact so much the psoas?

I also need to add that it’s since August that I been doing a lot of endurance rides and spending a lot of time on the bike.

I’m just trying to figure out why after a few years riding the bike where I never had a problem I’m having this horrible pain in my lower abdominal area.

    Any suggestions would be appreciated

  4. 2h34. From what I remember it was hard all the way especially the pothole road. I was in little groups chasing back a couple of times, longest after the pothole section. The train of cars behind the bunch helped a lot with that. By the time we got to Vissershoek I was toast.

My FTP is about 320w. Maybe with 350 its easier? :)

Well done, 2h34 min is a great time. My FTP is definitely not there so it makes sense :)

  5. Cool @Americo

When you are above 400 watts in the first 10 mins and the head of the race just stays away in the cross winds

@babse in the green lid at 2 mins

I’m fighting with my bike at 2’40”, wearing black

    I died a 100 deaths on Sunday

I really felt the blood in my mouth, definitely too much for me. Not sure if I didn't position myself well or if the watts are just not there. But I have to say that it was a good training ride

  6. Hi Guys,

I'm looking for a place where to print a Garmin Virb Ultra Cage. The original one I got makes a very annoying noise when I record videos while cycling. So I'm looking to make my own.

I already got the file designed, just need someone to print it for me

    Any suggestions would be appreciated

    Thank you

  7. Also, your bike handling is pretty top notch!

Trust me, I freaked out! A good friend and teammate just had a bad accident at DC and I was like "here we go again"

Very tense race until the climb, some okes were doing absurd things, one of them took 5 min to pull out some food "apple" from his pocket.
