  1. If I do quick calculations, am I right if I say that 360LIFE could have 2nd on GC now?
  2. 360Life now in front of Multivan Merinda, they wiped the 1:30 deficit today, let's see who elese they will pass on the GC
  3. Team @MeridaRacing are dropped! Now 360&361. Who'll take the stage?! #Geovans will want revenge after yesterday. #absacapeepic
  4. This really is insane that we can follow a race like this, don't even know why I bother trying to get work done.
  5. Here we go Up ahead, Topeak are losing time too. The leaders are: Merida 360&361. Bulls2 are 1min back. Fedgroup 2min
  6. I haven't been followng all morning, is it safe to say the leaders look like this at the moment: 36One Songo 360LIFE Multivan Merida small gap to: Bulls@ 7mins: Stockli Pro Then Bulls2? Does that sound right?
  7. 360Life and 36ONE - Songo rode the $*#% out of that route today. The next group going accross looked very weary and with one more showing like this for 360LIFE, they are sure to be on the podium
  8. Songo and 360LIFE going so fast now it seems like the live tracking is broken on the rest
  9. @eldron, I think if it wasn't a UCI event, I would agree with you, but I think the pro's throw enough money and time towards this, to at least be afforded some assistance, enven at the tech zones, they are not to allowed to have their own mechanics there and need to do it themselves.
  10. Whoe here thinks that Songo is "helping" 360Life to get on the podium, did they decide together to attack, or are they just matching each other and the only difference would be a flat tire on stage 1
  11. @nathrix that is seriously impressive
  12. I think I want to be a "spotter" next year, think quade bike, smartphone and constant tweets for the rest of the world!!!!
  13. Do you think they will turn around to pick it up?
  14. Wow, it is sad Need to figure out a way to watch this live
  15. Seems like it is a transpnder issue On the big climb and even top riders struggle for traction. Topeak lead. 360Life, 36ONE, BMC, Bulls, Merida all on pace #absacapeepic From the @absacapeepic tweet
  16. They're off
  17. Aren't they riding with Continentals?
  18. How much bad luck can 1 team have 360LIFE, even if they can take out 5 mins per day on the leaders it will still be tough task. How do you motivate yourself to continue after that, wishing other guys make mistakes so you can get back in the mix. Though one to swallow!!!! I really think they are at least as well prepared as Songo, a few seconds in it, but not minutes
  19. And Shan said on his twitter feed that it was a bad day at the office
  20. Nope, he sais he is not doing IMSA2012
  21. I must also say, Iwas very worried about traffic and parking and whether Meerendal will be able to cope, but I think it was handled quite well and the event went off without any unhapiness. Great seeing the guys going up there. Gonna be an awesome race, a two horse race? The prologue certainly lost the GC contention for a few teams, barring mechanicals from the front runners.
  22. Let's hope they understand each other ;-)
  23. Someone just pointed out to me that the road will be closed from just before Meerendal, coming from Durbanville, it is marked in black on the spectators guide. So, barring traffic and parking next to the road, it won;t be to far to walk with a kiddie/family.
  24. Hi everyone Just want to know if someone around here might know how the road closures work for the prologue, spesifically at Meerendal. I see they say the the road going past Meerendal (Vissershok) will be closed from 9 - 12, with stop go from there onwards. I want to take the family and some friends with and do the farmers market as well as catch some action, but if it will be closed from D'Urbavale, it'll be quite a walk. The people at Meerendal cannot help me and I am struggling to get hold of the traffic department. If anybody know, could you post please? Thanks
  25. Andrew McLean did it with the minister of sport, Jeroen Swart was the one driven Auntie Helen
