  1. That’s possible. It the Alu not the C
  2. Entered for my first one, but all this scary talk now has me shivering a bit! Sounds more like the last one standing wins……
  3. +1 on the Xterra. I have one and have no issues. I ordered the wrong size and Terry had no issues to exchange it for me
  4. There, I fixed it
  5. I am going to do the same. It’s time that the organiser knows that they are making it difficult for the people that are paying. It really is BS. There wasn’t even a collect point in PTA.
  6. I think Phil and Nino will be in Yellow at the start of stage 1. Both are great XCO and that suits them for day 1
  7. Report it yes, and the odds are very good that he will always cross that intersection about the same time as you had your accident. Seeing he works for eskom he probably has fixed hours and will always drive past there at certain times(give or take 30min). Maybe a good idea to hang around there at that time and see if you can spot the car/driver and take the number plate.
  8. Jip. CL for me
  9. I just wish cyclist could stick together and not one wear a number on race day. Maybe then the organisers will realise how inconvenient they are making it for their “customers” Why can I just get an email and print my own number? I just don’t get it why it should always be such a schlep. With the MTN MTB races you have one number board to use (I never pick up my race pack for them and only try to get one if there is enough time before the race). Same with running. Why cant all cycling events be like that? Get you race number from CSA when you register for your annual license, get a cloth number and you are set for the whole year
  10. +1 on Nalini from Naas (EVO bikes). Bought two of the cheapest and 1.5 years later they are still going strong. Great value
  11. Sorry, only saw the post from Kranswurm now. Thumbs up!
  12. I heard that there will be late entries on Saturday at Serengeti. Can anyone confirm this?
  13. Jip, not a minor. Lay a charge of theft if you do not get the goods you paid for
  14. The swim is like in any other standard Olympic distance tri, so normal training should be fine there. The bike course can get a bit technical on some sections, but your average mountainbiker won’t have any trouble. It’s a great route and my favourite of the 3 disciplines. The run is where most (including me) see there hmmm (you know). Last year was absolutely brutal. It must be the hardest 12km run I have ever ever done. If you want to focus your training on a discipline, focus on the run. Regarding the tri-suit, just get a short one and use it the whole time. I don’t think there are places to change and the last 2 years the water was too warm for wetsuits anyway so a trisuit (or short and top) will do just fine
  15. Jip, same here. Something else I noted was that I eat a lot more if I include carbs. I am constantly looking for something to snack on.
  16. That is brilliant!! Congrats!
  17. Thank you Christo!
  18. Thanks for the info. We will go and see if they are open tomorrow. Hopefully it wont be raining
  19. Anyone know if Van Gaalens will be open on 26/12? I tried their website but no info.
  20. Is the satelite classic route safe to do with only two riders? I am in the harties area this week and want to do the route tomorrow morning but dont want to ride if the route is a bit too risky?
  21. Would be really cool if we could get this in SA
  22. You are really lucky. I have been looking for a secondhand large one for about 3months now without any luck.
  23. Good luck HMT. How does your fuelling plan look for the trip? And you planned HR zone?
