  1. getting psyched up...gonna be interesting to see how the young lad from Leeds does in the short course format
  2. Joshua Cheptagai going for the 3000m world record on the 19th. No one has come even remotely close to the current record of 7:20 so it will be interesting to see
  3. SC in a specialized box...very clever..no one will want to steal it en route thinking it was a specialized
  4. mine was set on content i had not read - but maybe i needed to actually click save to save the setting to my profile - i will test just checked - it works now
  5. I have a gazillion of space - if the width of the site was 90% of the screen it would make reading threads a lot easier
  6. I have a few comments. Since I cant tapatalk at the moment, browsing on the mobile is quite difficult because after you open a thread you cant easily go back to the forum listing except for clicking the hub icon and then you have about three clicks to get back to the forum listing - bit clunky clicking on a thread does not take you to your last position. it appears to take you to the last page only
  7. Makes sense to consolidate everything into the one store. I always just used to use the town one because it because it was convenient from Wembley. That shop was like an institution though! lots of my moola got funnelled into it ????
  8. I only use Tapatalk...please dont neglect it..thats my only comment
  9. Rob and Bart mention Redbull athletes more than anyone else because .. Well.. They're Redbull athletes. It's the only reason why they still point out Emily Betty in the field in the last 4 or 5 years because she really hasn't been in the sharp edge of the competition in years. Rob certainly getting a lot of flack on here. He's not perfect, but he's improved a lot. We could have worse. Just go listen to the 2012 Olympics.
  10. Like a foreign concept these days. I'm watching three shows like that at the moment. it's both frustrating and enlightening at the same time
  11. Was my go to shop for spares. My only small gripe I ever had was that when they opened the new shop the one in town got neglected a bit. Is the town shop still running?
  12. Yup... Very good
  13. I though I linked this document earlier, but it obviously did not link through tapatalk. This explains the qualification process https://www.uci.org/docs/default-source/official-documents/tokyo-2020---olympic-games/final---2021-04-27---tokyo-2020---revised-qualification-system---mtb---eng.pdf
  14. Got to take what Rob says with a pinch of salt but he said in the commentary that team GB didn't have a spot in the Olympics and it depended on what happened with other countries... Which sounds bizarre to be honest... But.. If you take rankings etc from the 2019/20 there was no GB riders in the mix... So why would they have a spot... Still.. The system seems crazy Edit.. Make some sense of this...
  15. Yeah.. Pretty impressive to maintain a podium standing on his legs for half a lap.. Makes you wonder if the weight sacrifice of a manual override would be worth it. Lecomte also had some issues with her dropper... But hers was just getting stuck (probably from some dust/dirt)
  16. Double header by team France
  17. Absolutely.. Incredible race
  18. That was a pretty phenomenal ride by Lecomte. She pretty much lead most of the race. I was amazed to learn that France only gets to send 2 riders to the Olympics
  19. I've had to replace mine. Top quality ply cut to the same size and then painted with gloss varnish achieves the same thing at a fraction of the cost
  20. Looking forward to this
  21. Mine goes around the top of the windcscreen under the passenger sun visor (it could go in the trim but i wasn't bothered) and then down the side in the trim, behind the cubbie and into the usb in the console. With a bit of effort you can make it completely invisible
  22. forgive my lack of knowledge of heavy machinery. I just call everything with a bucket a bulldozer
  23. ha ha - ok here's a funny car too
  24. ok - so while this sounds like it might not be a big issue, I reckon it will end up being a pain. I just hop in my car and drive. Don't really pay attention to the dashcam unless I come across a clip worth protecting.....like the other day when a bulldozer was driving towards me with 4 dogs sitting in the bucket edit - the auto switch on and record etc with a dashcam is also a major consideration
  25. I bought the Aukey 1080 dashcam last year (https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B01LWN99YA?psc=1&ref=ppx_pop_dt_b_product_details) didn't want to spend heaps, but wanted something to cover me in the event of a dispute. It was about 60 euro and I have reviewed footage since and you can 9/10 see numberplates and the quality and sound is sufficient for my liking. Most important thing is a good quality SD Card, so I opted for quality over capacity and settled on a 32Gb. The advantage of a dedicated dashcam vs a GO Pro is that you can press a button to protect a clip (maybe you can do that in a gopro?) If I bought again...i might buy a slightly more expensive model, but I am more than happy with my purchase P.S there is a scary amount of reviews on the different dashcams out there on youtube.
