  1. This directors cut re-edit of Prince absolutely killing it on the guitar at the George Harrison induction to the rock and roll hall of fame is trending because it focuses more on his guitar play then the original... And it's well worth a watch https://youtu.be/CdfMh8QgJjA
  2. Watched 3 movies this weekend Stowaway - absolute rubbish. Ridiculously weak plot Things seen and heard - ok thriller with a bit of a weak ending Nomadland - solid movie.. But I really like Frances McDermott

  7. its my favourite. I would say the hardest track and field event. There is no time for strategy - you have to make a split decision within the first 200m (thats 25seconds you have to respond!) and before you know it you are at the bell and the nerves are still fluttering but suddenly you have to start accelerating 8 12.5 second 100m sprints in a row is the current record
  8. yeah..its difficult to say in 1984. He didn't have the greatest form either. I mean you compare his form to Rudisha and its like night and day. I find it alarming I did not know of him though despite him winning the gold in LA, but then all our magazines etc back then were from GB so we had the Ovett/Coe story rammed down out throats.

  13. Remember head lamps can blind motorists. High viz vests are used here. In fact you just go into the police station and ask for one, or send away for one and they will send it to you
  14. Just stumbled across this live version of this superb song from Glastonbury. Well worth a watch. I always prefer to click a live video in youtube because you get a much better feel of the artists interpretation of the song...and 2:50 - 3:15 is just that - well worth a watch
