Nice bike, is that a 21inch front wheel, looks like it. I thought they came out with 19inch wheels on the front. I you want to do a nice trip, ride from I think its Lambertbay to Groenrivier on the west coast, best bike trip I have ever done.

When I said not Avids I mean the new ones, Ellixer(i think dont know the spelling) XX and so. The older avids are not bad, but they are old, you dont want a new bike with old brakes (even though they work perfectly).

Dont get Avid, I have the CR Carbons and they are not nice, makes noise, feels crap and they tend to fail on high speed.....(evans epic) I think the Formula R1's would be your best bet in the weight department. Then the new XTR's are also very nice I had them on my 29er.

This must be a mean run with all those uphills...

Does anybody know when is their opening?

Are the ones that burry and sauser were riding 29ers? I can see there are two 29ers and two 26ers.

Does your office have a shower? There are so many people riding their bikes to work I wonder how many of them shower at the office, that is now if its a office job.

Yeah, mine are squeeling since day one, the original pads squeeled so are the replacements. It makes a very high pitch noise. I think its organic pads. If you find a sollution, please let me know aswell.

I have the Mavic wheels, service on them is very quick, easy and cheap. And I know they are very strong. But jeez those eastons look super hot!!

Well if you are going to use the stans rimstrip its going to cost you more than R1000 including UST tyres. Ask your bikeshop to tape your rims (special tape), buy the valves, tyres, stans or any other sealent and you are good to go, it will be the cheapest that way. You could use normal foldable tyres but its not recomended, I use it at the moment but the sidewalls are thin and its a bitch to seat them on the rim (crosmax rims).

This is 100% not true, a 29er hardtail is not nearly as soft as a 26er dual, infact its not soft at all, I have both and yes my 29er is a carbon frame.

Jip, .22 Magnum North American Arms, very small, very light enough to stop someone attacking you. Loaded with CCI hyper velocity hollowpoints, nobody will take my bike!!! The gun is not longer than my blackberry, its not something you will start a war with.... but its the best gun for the purpose.

If i were you i would go for the crest, podium is just for racing, very light and not as strong. I think the Hopes are heavier than the A2Z's?
