  1. Same here. However, we get to tube after 6 at night!
  2. To mod, or not to mod. That be thy question. I only have one problem...uhm, let me rather call it a concern, with mods: Sometimes I feel that they impose their own value system and believes on a topic. And you have to abide by it. Period. (Not always, but sometimes)
  3. Have you actuly checked where that link goes?
  4. Trining with power meters and HR monitors and whatever may be fine for training...But in a race, you should go by feel and not look at some gadget to tell you what is going on.
  5. So who went riding this morning?

  10. Weeeeeeeeeeeell, the OP asked what makes a MTB climb better. So I assumed he want's to upgrade HIS bike and thus wanted to know where he needs to spend money to make it climb better. If he wanted to know how HE can climb better, he should have asked that, no? Ja, ja,I know he said apart fromloosing weight...But to me there is just one thing that willmake a bike climb better and that is to get rid of excess weight first.
  11. Weight. Read an article the other day on what just 2 kilo's of added weight does to a cyclist on a climb. Can't remember the length of the climb but the penalty was 1min 30sec. Will go look for the article.

  19. It is called SWISS for a reason - it is like SWISS cheese - full of holes. But replacing the bearings is not rocket science. Learn to DIY and save. Or, get other hubs/wheels. Dt Swiss ain't bad wheels but the bearings, especially the freehuib body, is a bit of a letdown. On the other hand, I have had my X1800's now for 3 years and they are bomb proof and still running true. Contact DT Swiss at dtsupport@mweb.co.za
  20. Is there than another way? My wife is going to kill me! Nh, I just suck at waking up in the mornin'
  21. Not more than my neighbor's wife. Or so I've heard.
  22. I am married. Getting to bed is not the problem. Going to sleep is.
