  1. Ek dink nie enigiemand verwag dat die bokke die kiwis gaan wen hierdie jaar nie. Baby steps... Onthou laasjaar het ons rock bottom geslaan. Vir nou is hierdie vertonings uitstekend.
  2. Duh Duh, or Die Ellendig, has been sent home to regain form.. Bwahahaha! Jaco Kriel isn't injured, he's available and been training with the test team. I agree it would be better to let him play for the A side if he's not even on the bench for the boks. I dunno why he's not in the team, he's one of the best 6's in the world!
  3. If I was AC I would make a couple of small changes. Bring back Jaco Kriel at 6 and move Kolisi to 7. Keep Jean Luc on the bench. Replace Rhule with Combrinck. I see some people are calling for Frans Steyn to start at 12, but I think it's smart to keep him on the bench, where he can cover 10, 12 and 15. Beast and Malherbe are also in my opinion not the best in their positions, and could possibly be replaced by Kitshoff/Du Toit and Dreyer (I don't rate Coenie either)
  4. I agree. Okes saying this was the French B-team and we played poorly must put things into context. Remember how low we sunk last year... We're playing with a VERY inexperienced test team at the moment, and most of the combinations are new (at test level at least). So to expect the bokke to just suddenly click and wipe the French off the pitch is unreasonable. it was their first game together and a first with the likes of Brendan Venter in the coaching team. I for one am not an AC fan. BUT I give him credit for sticking with local players and rewarding players in good form. All the overseas ballies that some people want back can stay right where they are in my opinion. Give this young team time to gain some experience and confidence. They won't beat the AB's this year and will probably struggle against other strong test teams, but in a year or 2 I think they'll be up there with the best
  5. So are whiteys not also south african? Why can the rest of the rainbow nation not support the best 15 rugby players we have, regardless of their colour?I don't see bafana being "transformed" to be representative.. Anyways, this is not a discussion I want to get into. I'll rather focus on rugby comments.. Agree that Ruan Combrinck should be there. If AC can include duh duh after playing only 40mins super rugby he can include Ruan as well.
  6. So what do you guys think of the bok group? I think it's not too bad, could've been a lot worse! Now to wait and see who the starting 15 is going to be.. Great decision making ww the captain. Couple of passengers in that group, most notably duh duh. The oke has played 40mins of super rugby this year. He last had decent form in 2015. How the heck does he make it into the bok group?????
  7. Washed my bike Then took it for a short ride after work

  9. That's good to hear Eugene!
  10. This should arrive tomorrow hopefully.
  11. No more night race on the Friday?
  12. Phew, what a game lions and sharks! As a lions supporter I'm very relieved with the win. I think the sharks outmuscled and outsmarted the lions today, and was very unlucky to lose. Only thing I don't like about the sharks is the off the ball niggle. Saw it a couple of times again tonight. And that oosthuizen fellow, how many yellow cards has he received this season? Chiefs vs province next weekend is going to be a cracker. Will show whether the stormers are the real deal or of they've been good against weak opposition so far. I predict a close win for the chiefs in the final few minutes. Then after that it's province vs lions.. I can't wait!
  13. Haha, strava is there... bibs I had to throw away.. LOL I remember saying something along the lines of "o f*kkit" as I powered up the hill (at 7km/h)
  14. Had an eventful ride after work yesterday. Along my normal route I heard something funny in a bush next to me, turned out to be a baboon, and I got to chase a few further down the road. Saw a huge kudu bull, then got to this tree, which was one of my favourites along my route. I always expected to see a leopard in one of its branches. This obviously got me thinking about the power of elephants, and what they could do to you. Just the previous weekend we got chased in our bakkie by a pissed off bull. Whilst I was thinking about this I started climbing the steepest hill along my route, and then I heard something next to me... Bobs your uncle, there's a freaking elephant about 10m from me. And because I've just started climbing a steep hill I was going nowhere slowly! With that shot of adrenaline I managed to ride half the hill in my middle front gear (I've never had the legs to do it in anything other than granny). Lucky for me the elephant also got a moerse fright, he obviously didn't hear me coming and went running in the opposite direction! I live to ride another day...

    Cricket......

It'll be disappointing if we lose tomorrow. But our top order needs a major shakeup. The de bruyn experiment failed miserably, he's a middle order batsman not an opener. I would give cook another chance, and beg AB to come back! Even if AB doesn't come back, time to drop duminy. Even bavuma hasn't quite clicked after some very promising outings at the beginning of his int career. Amla another one who needs to rediscover his form quickly!

    Cricket......

I've never been a fan of duminy, and this sums up why https://callingthroughthefog.wordpress.com/2017/03/28/the-luckiest-cricketer-in-south-africa/
  17. Apparently dogs don't have the same tissue damage reaction we have. I don't understand it but ja even mine didn't have any tissue damage. Just a lot of swelling and bleeding
  18. Shame man I also had a similar incident a week ago. Was watching rugby on Saturday when my Weiemeraner came into the house, covered in blood. My first thought was holy shite a baboon got hold of him (I could hear baboons barking in the distance). Upon closer inspection I could only find 1 hole, in his ear. But it was literally squirting out this hole, a main artery was severed. When it became obvious I won't stop the bleeding I rushed him to the vet (75km away), who at the time also didn't know what could've happened to him. By this time he was in shock, and blood still squirting out his ear. Three days later the vet made up his mind that it must have been a pufadder. Luckily though he's fine now, except for an abscess under his ear that we have to keep on draining
  19. Lekker...
  20. Suppose I have to post a few pics here as well seeing that I've joined the Pyga family! I replaced the blue grips with green ESI's and fitted 2 Spez bottle cages. Have only done one proper ride so can't really comment too much yet, but so far it is an awesome feeling swinging a leg over this bike! When my cc has one day recovered from this ordeal I'll start upgrading components. First the wheelset, then my groupset. Maybe replace the Merida branded handlebar..
  21. Unfortunately I couldn't get my blue Pyga Stage. Long story short, I was going over to a large frame but my fork steerer was cut so short it wouldn't fit a large. So I had to decide, either stick with the blue frame and buy a new fork, or just go with the new 2017 frame in medium. This is what I went with: The blue grips have since been replaced with green ESI's, and I put 2 Spez bottle cages on.
  22. So, this is being built up today with my old components. Collecting it tomorrow if all goes well!
  23. Sorry saarks! Looked like they were in control for most of the match but poor handling cost them. Also, if you can't put a team away that plays with 14 men for 20 mins then you don't deserve to win.

    Cricket......

Ja if others were involved, expose them. But what Kepler is saying is that Hansie was always a cheater. he doesn't mention other players...

    Cricket......

The Hansie thing.. Is it really necessary of Kepler to dig this stuff up again? I'm loving the current Aus-India test match! I like neither of them, but I love that the spin crazy pitch backfired badly in India's face! Kry vir julle!
