  1. I think he fears this sort of thread far more than any law enforcement or court action in SA - he hides behind the rank incompetence of the legal and judicial system. Threads like this, however get google search hits and the very enthusiastic energy of a large number of the thread participants to rain down pain by alerting all his target sucker groups pose a real threat to his pool of suckers. The best way to deal with scumbags like this oke is to keep these threads live constantly. Right Right TAUN BEWSHER?? wat se jy papa?
  2. these are the groups he targets, per the likes on his fb page. Be a shame if they all got flooded with warnings form concerned citizens about TAUN'S scam MTB tours, wouldn't it?
  3. its still up - he's just blocked you
  4. yassus, that was quite a hectic thread - just went through all 24 pages. It boggles the mind how scum like this TAUN BEWSHER keeps scamming the same schtick for so many years without consequence. Is that even a real name? TAUN? no wonder he's such a f-up. You know the SA justice system has been property fANCed when this can happen for so many years. And here is is: https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=600663484752896&set=pb.100044277497196.-2207520000..&type=3
  5. i think all bicycles, and especially the ones you mentioned are a menace on a promenade, not only the mamils. Any maybe the other wheeled activities should also move to the other lane too. Its a crowded space, best enjoyed by people on foot not having to worry about muppets trying to thread inbetween people sauntering down the beachfront.
  6. Not sure why you mention all those other things - they are false equivalents and have nothing to do with the subject of cycling on the promenade. Not really sure what your point was. As a cyclist, I feel there is no need to ride on the promenade as it is just too narrow with too many highly variable and unpredictable obstacles - kids, dogs, grannies on zimmers, families walking 5 abreast etc etc. Riders on the promenade also often have little regard for other users in terms of line and speed and I have personally witnessed numerous near misses and unpleasant encounters. I support the ban and moving riders to the other lane - makes complete sense once we get over our sense of entitlement.
  7. I'm curious to find out if anyone else has experienced this: I have had an enduring medium level pain on my left side (only left side), artor around the hip for some time now. If you put your hand on your hips like a Karen at the bank, and then move your fingers slightly into the groin, just in front of the hip. Possibly ITB related? It is constant, and some days worse than others. I am really bad at stretching discipline, but stretches that open the pelvis as well as lower back and ITB stretches make it a bit better, but it never really goes away. edit: The pain actually wraps around the left side lower back, just above and to the left of upper butt. Any suggestions?
  8. bloody revolutionary! Those are the tried and tested roads to success - ask any ANC cadre!

  10. Motard or Etard - which one to pick? LOL
  11. no idea what you just said. Irrespective of how many or what types of bikes you have, in the event that you CHOOSE to ride an e-bike on chappies, should a toll be charged, as opposed to real cyclists, who don't have to pay a toll. Verstaan?
  12. There has been an explosion of e-bikes riding up chapman's peak - both sides. Given that real cyclists are exempted from paying the toll fee and going round the booms while motorbikes have to pay the toll, shouldn't e-bike also have to pay the toll? The smallest moped which likely has less kw than a fancy e-bike have to pay, so why not the e-bikes?
