  1. so I wonder what now? its a mission to go all the way to find it closed - is there any number that can be called on this?
  2. that is properly beautiful - where is this?
  3. i just don't know how you do this, and you have confirmed EXACTLY what my biggest worry was - falling your MOER off. Do you ride technical downhills on this (and I don't mean jumps and what not), but just steep, rocky, switchbacky stuff?? I get stress anxiety just looking at this bike
  4. is international cargo even coming in these days?
  5. you should be locked up anyway
  6. too late, slowpoke. I already got my Somali passport and ID card - i am SWEEET
  7. @jewbacca I am on the same side as you on this one. It blows my mind why people have to pivot immediately to insulting, derogatory and abusive language when they find something they simply could choose to ignore or just pass by. You know, if I were a less than civilized person without the gobs of restraint that I possess, I would be inclined to call out this KingCrispy human dumpster as a miserable box who should eat a bag of d1.cks. Fortunately, I am far too peaceful and serene, so all I am going to do is politely suggest that he exercise his economic right to decline BHPlus offer, and perhaps refrain from the attempts at just sh,1.tting all over a genuine attempt by the good folk at BH to try something new. How hard is that?
  8. my great danes don't much care for coffee grounds - should I try mixing in some wet food?
  9. its sometime better to under promise and over deliver, but cyclists are notoriously optimistic and supportive of new ventures (with the obvious exception of the PILLOCK!). Modders is a big place, and keeping those trail in check must be one mother of a job. Good luck to the chaps having a go, and I do NOT envy the task. I hope it works out
  10. you're in luck, because sadmarc is willing to take up the good fight for you, and many like you, as he cares so damn deeply about these social injustices!
  11. its really sad how you did not just keep quiet and use this as a teaching moment, but that speaks such volumes about you, doesn't it, avatar and all? And please do not for 1 minute try to convince anyone you give 2 sheets about the financial well-being of the other multi-entry card holders, the poor and oppressed under class for whom you so resolutely and bravely stand up. Don't kid yourself, bucko, this is all about YOU. well done.
  12. i'm a lover, not a fighter, but this level of self-entitled, egocentric world-view just gets on my proverbial t1ts. I can't imagine what a mission it must be to open a bike park, maintain the trails, etc. The guys who do it sure as hell don't do it for the money, that's for sure. And then you get these man-baby complainers like our friend marc to come and sh.1t all over it because he DEMANDS that the R200 he spent last year must be honoured. Seriously? He probably winged like a stuck pig when they increased from 35 to R40. In fact, that's probably why he bought a multientrey ticket. Wow, the poor guy. @marc Go take a long look at yourself, chap. Its all not about you
  13. you are not loyal and you have no respect for the effort to get this business up and running. You are just an another typical "its all about me" self entitled moaner. As you said, please take your hard earned R200 and go somewhere else.
  14. thankfully small-minded people like you don't matter. You are crying about R200 or some such, while these guys have invested in reopening the whole place for everyone. They are in no way obliged to honour the previous business' obligations - go google it. Pillock
  15. You voiced your opinion in a public forum. Don't get all butthurt now that people are pointing out that "your opinion" is typical of a self-entitled and boorish muppet. it was YOUR choice to flame Spur because they didn't cater to YOUR specific and unreasonable demand. Deal with the backlash, or better yet, reflect on your comments and use this as a learning experience. Failing which you are free to continue your corporate protest and march yourself off to Wimpy. Please send pics, I'm sure Spur is tearing their hair out that your feelings were hurt when denied your 2nd burger.
  16. how many riders rode this last year? It sounds awesome!
  17. HELP!! I want to put a Schwinn SS on a kickr, but the back triangle is too narrow to fit due to the width of the casette - is there a way to jury-rig the casette to remove sprockets to make it narrower? After all, I only need a single sprocket at the back given the kickr is an ergo trainer?
  18. Don't they get a RUE?
  19. Hijack on: PLEASE can someone direct me to the thread where I can give away stuff that other Hubbers may need?
  20. where do you start from?
  21. ED-ZACKERLY what he said - There have been bitter few examples of a k@k business buying a great business, and transforming into a great business. And in this case, there is no reason to sugar-coat the issue - read the archives of the Hub for real-life evidence of just how horrible Cycle Lab is. With this said, all we can do is say a big Thank you to CW and his team for being such a wonderful exception on the SA retail landscape. He deserves to be able cash out, and I hope those okes at CL paid TOP DOLLAR. The inevitable $hitshow that is going to unfold where CL pulls CW through their @rse is going to be sad
  22. This is the world we live in now post Trump: facts matter little. We can "feel" or "think" whatever we like about something, and consider it to be true, irrespective of the facts at hand, or even in the face of directly contradictory facts. I wonder what they are teaching kids in schools these days?
  23. can NEVER have too much beer - go for it!
