  3. Lynskey maybe pure art but Scott is proven engineering that works, Scott brings in the bike themselves now so back up wont be an issue

  5. I have a set that I train with that has XT hubs on, have had no issues with them to date and plenty of km's done on them
  6. Alot tougher than before but nicer not just being the normal flat Babbas, 3 loops is mind numbing though
  7. I just finished studying full time(BSc Quantity Surveying) where I had classes everyday and also had one **** load of projects throughout the course. I had a part time job at a bike shop close to campus, where instead of lazing around under trees and on campus like most students do between periods I went and worked. Weekends I also worked including holidays, no December holidays as well as I worked through. I had a hectic schedule but I made it work, made time for my studies and could train and race once a month. Oh and my social life was not great but ok. Now I finished studying full time, have a day job and I am busy completing my honors. Don't give me that bullsh1t story of no time at varsity its about your priorities!
  8. I had a coach/biokenetisist do my total program for me, train with watts now its the best possible way to train as your HR may not be reflecting your true work rate
  9. I always choose the DHL option yes it is more expensive but I receive my goods within 3 days at my door
  10. He should get an operation to fix that can't be good and looks bad
  11. Be aware guys check their coverage first, know of two of my friends with this package that are not covered in their area for the fastest speed and now have to browse on edge...........they would have been better going with another service provider
  12. Basically rule of thumb is if you take a straight line from the top of your seat to over your handle bar it should not be more than 9cm height difference. A lot of the pro cyclists ride with differences up to 14cm, but that is very aggressive My friend is 1.83m tall and rides a 56 but reckons he has ridden on 54's and it worked for him but it depends on your in seam height
  13. Not a Contador fan at all and what happened to him on Saturday was unfortunate but its to his own account with bad placing in the bunch. Still their is three weeks to go and he won't give up as it may be his last TdF with the court case against him scheduled for August
  14. Were on the highway exactly? Close to Krugersdorp?
  15. You are purchasing a Scott aspect 30 and you want to upgrade the fork? Or are you purchasing a Scale 30 and want to go lighter? Pretty useless spending that amount of money if the aspect 30 retails for close to R5k
  16. Shucks I only have a laptop and thats for business no running games on that
  17. Unfortunately the problem with going so big is their is very little personal knowledge and relationships with customers and you need to be in the click most of the time to be noticed
  18. Some of these hubbers on here just spam peoples posts with worthless info Ask for your money back bud you sure as heck have the right to and I am pretty sure all of us know it is Cycle Lab unless I am wrong
  19. I would also like to have it but on XBox though
  20. I will wait another month until the Scott comes out going to be one of the best 29er duals on the market, have a look at Cannondale to
  21. Looks ver nice is that their alu frame?
  22. Probike has been bought out by Scott Sports, you can't purchase the bicycles on line here in SA. If you purchase your bike from overseas their is no warranty Scott has awesome machines in the pipeline for 2012 with very cool settings and gadgets
  23. Ladies sizes are normally just one smaller than the men so the mens small would be a ladies medium same geometry, so it is actually just with most brands a moneymaking thing
  24. WTF! Really if it annoys you so that much phone them and ask them to remove you from their database. Next time when you enter for races read the terms and conditions don't just sign it. Check the Nissan series for example, their when you enter you clearly state when you agree to their terms that they may send you emails and sms's
  25. Its ****, I know of two people who had these type of seatposts and stopped using them because they gave them back issues
