  1. I am looking at it. Will not happen this year. Hopefully get some things sorted and could look at it next year. Here is to hoping!
  2. Limpopo river Valley. Close to Malalasdrift. Had to do a site visit so instead of walking decided to bring the bike. Still very dry in the valley
  3. We use Wurth and Liqui Moly products in our workshop. I am at the tyre sales side, but often help out when needed. Really good products.
  4. Home, sweet home!
  5. To work, almost running late, best time in almost 2 years.
  6. It was Friday morning today, most drivers seems to forget how to drive then. Ad month end and it was even worse than normal. Truck decided to park in the road. Single lane, then In the oncoming lane another car tries to pass a car, how they both got through the gap I don't know. As you said, we live another day!
  7. I do like, maybe next year will be new bike time!
  8. Well done on the Brother Kepler frame. I also had my eyes on it, but my bank balance said no to that idea. I have also run 10sp shifter with 9sp rear derailleur and can confirm it works. Enjoy the build.
  9. Afternoon commute home!
  10. I only have good things to say about rapide. Brilliant service and fast shipping. I live in Polokwane. Ordered some parts from them a while back at around 3:30 in the afternoon, had it in my hand before 10:00 the next morning! Pity their range is not that big otherwise I would not look anywhere else. Bikemarket was ok, shipping just took longer than expected. Cyclelab service was also good.
  11. A pity, have been eyeing their ATB frame on Facebook and not finding it on their local site. Seems to tick a lot of boxes for me. Will keep an eye out!
  12. Can fully agree here. Have been watching some of his episodes on YouTube and really liking it.
  13. Titan is on a roll. First their gravel bike, then commuter, dual and now a great hardtail. Once this lockdown is over I may need to have serious look at one of these.
  14. Yesterday home.
  15. Hi, you could always send that Lauf fork up north!Really nice bike! One day I will also own a TI bike.
  16. I would love to able to run 29x2.2 tyres on a frame and change to say 700x35 or 38c tyres (2nd wheelset) if I do a road event. Hoping to be able to do the Kremetart this year, missed it the last 2 years due to work obligations. Maybe in 2 years time when my son's studies are paid I may be able to buy a bike again. Seriously look at a steel or titanium frame then.
  17. Really like this. Wish my Fuji could take bigger wheels at times. Our road can get badly corrugated and sandy at times. At other times it can resemble a river. Season depending! I have put around 10000km on the fuji.
  18. Love my Fuji. Use it as my commuter. I have 8-10km gravel to town and is almost perfect for that. My Momson AL329 only gets ridden on the weekend.
  19. Mountain bru, where are those pics taken. Really nice. Looks familiar, but the dam not! Like the bike!
  20. My wife drives the Suzuki. She can be a bit off a maniac behind a wheel. It is a 2016 model with just short of 90000km on it. I would say that at least 30000km of that has been on gravel. We have 8km gravel before we get to the nearest tar road. So far very happy with it.
  21. These Suzuki's can fit a lot in. I own the older one and am often surprised what we can fit in when needed. They also have decent ground clearance and gravel roads are no worries. Enjoy
  22. I also really like that bike. Need to build me something along those lines. I like my Fuji cx1 frame, but tyre clearance is limited. Really would like to be able to run bigger tyres than the 38x700c currently on. The fork has enough space but I am limited at the rear. The gravel roads I ride are generally very corrugated and mtbike tyres really do much better.
  23. Been down with the flu over the weekend. Hopefully I will be back in the saddle tomorrow.
