  1. Great news!
  2. Thank you for the updates on little Karmi. I so feel for that poor Mum. Our preemie situation was no where near as bad but I still recall the emotions of sitting next to an incubator with your very tiny baby full of tubes and all you can do is will them to fight and tell them how much you love them. Please keep us posted.
  3. Beautiful little girl. Keep fighting sweetheart.
  4. Good to hear that she is improving. I can't imagine the pain of their loss. My heart goes out to them. I so hope that she continues to thrive.
  5. I like this. Honestly had never heard of them. Off to find more tracks.
  6. That is one really nice photo.
  7. And rescues are extra special. My one rescue dog was my shadow, if I stopped too quickly she would bump into the back of my legs. Sadly she crossed Rainbow Bridge a few months ago but I think I might be emotionally now ready to adopt another to our happy clan soon
  8. They do but Mums are usually just faster at cleaning up the evidence ????
  9. So sorry. It's never easy to lose any animal.
  10. The photos of kids pushing the limits is a stark reminder that silence is not golden but ominous. A bit like puppies really.
  11. Pretty cool Dead Kennedys t shirt as well.
  12. Big dog tails that are wagging can swipe cups of coffee tables. We no longer use coffee tables for cups ????
  13. You must be super chuffed. Great news ????
  14. Enjoyed Twin Peaks way back. May actually make the effort to watch the new one. Haven't watched a TV series for about 9 years so not sure I can actually sit still that long.
  15. A bit like a school reunion.
  16. The most important thing is for him to enjoy it and have fun which he certainly seems to do. All kids are really different, my just 6 year old did his first 10km race recently and was flying up hills that adults were walking and strangers were even commenting on him. He loves riding . His older brother takes a lot longer, chats and looks at the view and has lots of breaks. They both really enjoy it in their different ways and that's what's most important.
  17. I honestly don't know as sometimes the definition of 'technical' differs from person to person. Unfortunately I am not doing the race as initially planned so I did not question them further after my initial enquiry.
  18. They emailed back to say that it's not technical. It's seems to be more across the road from Red Barn.
  19. One of my favourite songs!
  20. Quote a few years ago, for a very specific reason, I changed my eating habits. It was not for any weight reasons as it's never been an issue. I am no fanatic at all but generally still eat reasonably healthy. It really does seem to help the immune system as I don't really get colds and flu and yet before I would always get.
  21. Also had shingles once combined with glandular fever at the same time. Thought I had an insect bite but then doctor confirmed shingles and blood test confirmed glandular fever. Seem to remember it being a bit sore and very itchy and feeling a bit tired.
  22. Thanks. I will keep looking for a cell number to contact to ask. Can't seem to find a contact number.
  23. How technical is the 30km route? Have ridden at red barn but not the hard trails.
  24. So did my first ever mtb race on Saturday. I thoroughly enjoyed it. I made sure I started at the back of my batch so I wasnt in anybody's way. But as the ride progressed I even overtook quite a few people which I never thought I would do. I was polite and always asked if it was OK for me to pass on the right and if they didn't mind. All in all a great first experience and I didn't come last like I really thought I would but came in the top half of the ladies. Think I might even try another beginner race ????
