Seeing this made me think a bit...would it still count as a SS if you gots a rear derailr with all 9 cogs on the casette the same size, and one blade in front? Would be a 1x9 or whatever, but still be a SS (i know youd have to make some adjustments to the derailr and stuff, but for argument's sake)...

NO

No not an SS, or no not a 1x9? I can just imagine myself rolling on my SS and shifting with everyone else when hitting the uphill to another gear of the same size

...edit... I've convinced myself! Gonna buy 8 more SS kits to convert it!

I've had a tyre blow off the rim while in my hand.

Used the air at the garage, and was trying to get those last little pops.

I'm sure the gauge still said about 2 bar, then BOOM.

I think the gauge may have been faulty.

Know a rather experienced and top class wrench who had one pop off in his hand and the damage to the said hand was rather nasty

So after some tinkering and replacing some goodies on my SS its finally where it was always intended to be... Full rigid single speed.... One last thing I would like to do still is to split the rear stay and go belt drive but that will be a project for a later stage when I have time and money for the conversion... What I might do in the meantime is paint it.... getting bit tired of the full carbon look ... never thought id say that  :whistling:

Yo! Saw some at Bridge cycles, look a bit different to those though.

Will try make a plan to swing past there on the way home one day, if you want.

Could also check Olympic Cycles

Would appreciate that bud. Thanks.

Can you remember more or less what they looked like? Would they work on the same principal?.just need some tugs that will work on the ss as I see my wheel moves a bit under heavy power transfer
