Not sure anybody said he got lucky 91 times.

Maybe if he got lucky more he would moan less. Edit: Now that I read it again, it could work the other way too.

Regarding the target on his back, make no mistake he has a massive following. Here the media hold him in extremely high regard, he does not suffer negative bias, but the “target” painted on his back was a self portrait.

Gotta admire the achievements. Hardworking and persistent, undoubtedly.

All the nr 1s in sport has a target on their back, from Lewis Hamilton to Nino Schurter. Everyone wants the crown. Getting to the top is for but a few. Staying there is a remarkable feat.

Complaining is moaning when you can’t back it up with results. The only question is how much hunger he still has. The 100 will undoubtedly be a desired milestone.

They, F1, need to lean into this rather than fight it.

Think its the whole live session vibe and only the people to pay to stream from the track can do so. But yes, F1 needs to go back to v10's and allow Twitch while they drive.

I heard the commentators mention this weekend that Murray Walker has turned 97. Fantastic innings, and he has seen so much racing in his time.

Although apparently he was asking Martin Brundle(?) what was happening in F1 these days. I guess he also thinks that it's not worth watching anymore.

Thank goodness WRC is back (and also Seb Loeb from time to time).

If you read a bit about F1 engines the general consensus is that this Matra V12 engine is one of the best sounding engines ever built.  They were also in the old Ligier JS17 cars and sounded awesome.

That and the Lamborghini V12 F1 engine.
